Today I’m excited to share with you the Silk Naturals Holiday 2014 collection. I also have the Bare Necessities Matte 2 Palette, which is a vegan clone for the Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics Palette. Plus some other products that have me excited. I have official shade descriptions for the Bare Necessities Matte 2 Palette, but  not the Holiday 2014 collection, so these are unofficial descriptions based off of my observations. The video does a really good job of showing off the complex eyeshadow shades. Th Holiday 2014 collection will be available Thursday at Silk Naturals. The Bare Necessities Matte 2 Palette is vegan and gluten free. $22.50 together or $4.50 each. Selenium and Foxxy are not part of the set. Crumpet, Nobel, Kensington, Manor, Steeped and Duchess makeup the Bare Necessities Matte 2 palette.

Crumpet is a pale nude with just a hint of shimmer. Compare to UD Skimp.
Nobel – medium matte nude – Compare to UD Stark.
Kensington – medium grey nude taupe – Compare to UD Frisk.
Manor – warm brown matte – Compare to UD Cover.

I begged Karen at Silk Naturals to make a vegan, cruelty free clone for MAC Lightscapade and she sent me two products that work beautifully. Originally I thought the Close Up Illuminating Powder was the clone but then I wondered about the Reality Highlighter. Both powders look great when worn together or separately. Close Up really does brighten the face, while Reality adds the perfect amount of glow. (Karen confirmed that Close Up is her Lightscapade dupe and that Reality is a multi-purpose highlighter.
