Saucebox Cosmetics Temptation Palette Review Swatches

The inside of the Temptation Palette has a mirror. The same cute girl design from the front of the palette decorates the inside. The packaging itself is made from recycled materials, which I think is really cool.

I like the slim palette design. It’s lightweight and great for travel. Additionally, the eyeshadows themselves are huge! These pans are the same size as the Sugarpill pans, so you could easily switch the two between palettes to expand your colors in the palettes. You’re getting .14 oz per eyeshadow and paying $6.50 per shadow. When you compare that to an Urban Decay eyeshadow at .05 oz and $18, it’s definitely a steal for the price.

I bought this palette because I thought Mermaid was lovely and I thought Aquarama was interesting. I like the texture on Orange Sun and Yell-Oh! a lot too, though I don’t typically wear orange and yellow very frequently. The shadows wear well and last all day on eyeshadow primer.

I’m happy I snagged the Temptation palette and I’m again impressed with the quality of the shadows from Saucebox Cosmetics. They’ve got a wide variety of palettes and shades to check out, so if brights aren’t your thing, check out their neutrals.

What do you think of the Saucebox Cosmetics Temptation Palette?

Pros

  • Cruelty free
  • Eco-friendly packaging
  • Great value for the price
  • Great eyeshadow formula

Cons

  • If you don’t like brights, skip the Temptation palette

  1. I like this palette! Aquarama looks like a matte version of Urban Decay’s Gonzo from the photos, and I LOVE that yellow shade. I’ve been wanting to try a yellow eye shadow, although I’m not sure how it would look on me.

      1. That could work! I’m picturing this yellow shade with a caramel brown shade from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette. Kind of reminds me of sunflowers, which just so happen to be my favorite flowers. 🙂
