My Shade Descriptions
Pale Pink – pale pearly pink with subtle gold flecks
Strawberry Red – rich red with gold glimmers
Fuchsia Pink – bright pink with pink flecks and pink-violet iridescence
Brown Burgundy – brown with burgundy tones and silver glimmers
Brown Purple – deep brown with blue-purple undertones, matte
Mauve Rose – a mauvey rose pink satin

The colors don’t have official names, so I gave them boring unofficial names for now.

Value
You can see all 6 of the HUGE eyeshadows. These are .14 oz each (Sugarpill lists theirs as being .12 oz each) You’re paying $6.50 per eyeshadow, which is a great deal, especially considering the size of the eyeshadows.

I love these colors and think they’re awesome. The eyeshadows themselves are easy to work with. They’re highly pigmented, easy to blend, and they last all day for me. I wore them on primer and saw no creasing on TFSI. With OCC Skin Primer, they lasted 8 hours but at the end of the 8th hour my eyeshadow started to look a bit worn.

If you’re looking for new cruelty free indie eyeshadows, I recommend checking out Saucebox Cosmetics. I know I’ll be checking out more products from them!

  1. Hi Phyrra! Quick question… what do you use as a base for these? I purchased this palette to do a Valentines day look and am having some trouble. I was trying to use the two top right shadows all over the lid and they looked AMAZING but about 5 minutes later they started cracking up and falling off my lid. I couldn’t use any brush to blend the edges with out the colors coming COMPLETELY off! I used 3 different bases, 3 different times… and gave up! Help!

  2. OO That brown burgundy is sooo pretty. Definitely will have to add this to my makeup bag. Great introduction to the brand for me.
