bareMinerals Naturally Luminous Trio Review
A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to try out the bareMinerals Naturally Luminous Trio for combination skin. The Naturally Luminous Trio comes with the Purifying facial cleanser, the Purely nourishing moisturizer for combination skin and the Renew and hydrate eye cream. I’ve now been using these products for about three weeks, though at the time that I filmed the video it was about one week.

Value
This is a great value for the price. You’re basically getting the cleanser for free. If you love the moisturizer and eye cream, this is definitely a set you want to consider.
My Thoughts
I expected that the lavender oil in all of these products would either irritate my skin or overwhelm me with the smell. I was pleasantly surprised when neither happened.
The cleanser is a very nice, gentle cleanser. It can remove face makeup if you use it with a wash cloth, sponge, or foreo luna device. I have not tried using it to remove eye makeup, because I don’t like to get cleansers near my eyes. It doesn’t feel like it strips my skin. The moisturizer was surprisingly effective for me. I liked that it did a good job moisturizing my skin without leaving me feeling greasy the next morning.
The eye cream was rich and nicely moisturizing, but it left a weird sort of film on my skin the next morning, repeatedly. It washed off and my skin looked fine but I’m not sure why it’s doing that. It’s the only product that I don’t 100% love in this set, as it always seems to leave this odd film under my eyes.
Since this is a good value for the price, I definitely think it’s a holiday trio to check out, especially for the skincare fanatics.
Have you tried bareMinerals skincare products? Are there any must haves? Let me know!
what do you use to remove eye makeup? ever since i’ve started using antastasia’s clear top coat for mascara, eye makeup removal has a royal pain to remove. i’ve seen you mention UD’s melt and i sampled it from sephora but so far it doesn’t seem to be any more efficient than my cleansing oils.
I want to try the exfoliating cleanser, as I am on the hunt for a more affordable version of Tatcha’s Rice Enzyme Cleanser.
I’ve never tried it! Interesting.
