My Take
sheer peach-nude
Really pretty, sheer color. It has mint in it to plump lips. It stings my lips a bit but quickly fades. The gloss isn’t sticky, it’s smooth. Really nice!

My Thoughts

While I like the texture and really like color of the gloss, I don’t think it’s very pigmented. I think it’s a pretty neutral shade and it doesn’t even out the color of my lips. That said, it looks like the other colors in the collection would be more pigmented. I also think that the mint is a nice touch! It’s a very smooth texture.

The eyeshadows have a nice texture and great pigmentation. They’re fairly easy to work with. Lucky Penny was the best of the bunch, to me. I got 8 to 9 hours on primer with minimal fading in the crease.

Now, I have to say that I find the price tag for the individual shadows hard to swallow. At $18.75 for individual shadows, that seems high, even for vegan and gluten free products. (and especially when I compare the price to Silk Naturals at $4.50 for vegan and gluten free eyeshadows). However, ignoring the price, I think that they’re nice.

If you’re looking for vegan, cruelty free, paraben free and gluten free eyeshadows and lip products, Red Apple Lipstick may have the products that you crave.

What do you think of Red Apple Lipstick? Do you have any favorites by them?

  1. I’m a lipstick/lip gloss junkie, so it’s always great to find a source of good cruelty-free products.
I agree that the prices are on the high side, but they’re not as bad as some, and I’m willing to pay more for cruelty-free, anyhow.
