Paula’s Choice Gentle Touch Makeup Remover Review

Paula's Choice Gentle Touch Makeup Remover Review

Quite a while ago I purchased the Paula’s Choice Gentle Touch Makeup Remover. It’s a nice dual-phase makeup remover, perfect for removing waterproof mascara.

The Website Says

This mild makeup remover was carefully formulated for delicate eyelashes and the fragile skin around the eyes.

My Thoughts
This is a really nice dual-phase makeup remover. You just shake it up and dampen a cotton pad, then hold the pad against your eyees for half a minute. Then wipe downwards. It does a very good job of removing waterproof products. It’s about on part with an oil cleanser for me. As an added benefit, it doesn’t irritate my eyes or leave them cloudy when I remove my makeup.

I have used it to remove long wearing lip makeup remover and it works ok for that, but primarily I use it for eye makeup. To me, this is a very good deal for a makeup remover, especially when it’s on sale! In my experience it works better than the Sonia Kashuk or Nyx dual-phase makeup removers work for me, though all three are good.

This is currently what I’m reaching for over and over again, more than my oil cleanser because it’s so gentle on my skin. I’m really glad I gave it a chance. It really lives up to its name for me!

  1. i ordered a sample of this and will be going back for the full size. i love it.

  2. Excellent, another PC product that I’ve been wanting to try but wasn’t sure! I tried argan oil and toner a while back but it triggered my MGD (miebomiam gland disorder – ugh) so now can’t use any oil based removers, then I tried a cruelty free micellar remover but it really stings, then tried a Neal’s Yard oil free remover and it brought out the MGD again – I’d nearly given up! So, thank you so much, I’m ordering this tonight!!

    1. trumpette I love this one and the Mario Badescu carnation oil (but that’s an oil). This works so well at getting off my waterproof mascara, which is often my bane!

      1. Phyrra I’ve given up waterproof mascara because nothing (except oil based removers) would work on it – fingers crossed Paula works for me as it does you! I am tempted to try the Mario Badescu carnation oil to see if it’s light enough – thanks again Phyrra!!
