Quite a while ago I purchased the Paula’s Choice Gentle Touch Makeup Remover. It’s a nice dual-phase makeup remover, perfect for removing waterproof mascara.
The Website Says
Gentle Touch Makeup Remover is a dual-phase solution that quickly removes all makeup and is particularly adept at removing waterproof mascara, stay-put foundation, or all-day lipsticks. Goes above and beyond by providing antioxidants and anti-irritants and will not leave an oily residue or sting the eyes. This mild makeup remover was carefully formulated for delicate eyelashes and the fragile skin around the eyes.

This is a really nice dual-phase makeup remover. You just shake it up and dampen a cotton pad, then hold the pad against your eyees for half a minute. Then wipe downwards. It does a very good job of removing waterproof products. It’s about on part with an oil cleanser for me. As an added benefit, it doesn’t irritate my eyes or leave them cloudy when I remove my makeup.
I have used it to remove long wearing lip makeup remover and it works ok for that, but primarily I use it for eye makeup. To me, this is a very good deal for a makeup remover, especially when it’s on sale! In my experience it works better than the Sonia Kashuk or Nyx dual-phase makeup removers work for me, though all three are good.
This is currently what I’m reaching for over and over again, more than my oil cleanser because it’s so gentle on my skin. I’m really glad I gave it a chance. It really lives up to its name for me!
