ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr Visionary Eyeshadow Palette

Hi friends, today I’m bringing you my thoughts on the ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr Visionary Eyeshadow Palette. ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr is a new cruelty-free beauty brand. The Visionary Eyeshadow Palette is gluten-free, cruelty-free and vegan. It’s also got a lot of ingredient callouts by Sephora including sulfate free, parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and triclocarban, and contains less than one percent of synthetic fragrances.

While I’m not afraid of parabens the way I know some people are, I appreciate the up front ingredient information provided. It’s a refreshing change.

The Brand Claims
This hit-the-pan eyeshadow palette embodies Patrick Starrr’s forever favorites that deliver one-swipe payoff. The nine matte shades are buttery to the touch, while the six shimmer shades contain pearlescent pigments for a gorgeous effect. Each shadow is easy to blend and buildable for your preferred intensity. With both warm and cool tones, the palette offers an inclusive shade range that complements every skin tone.

Patrick Starrr has always seemed like a nice, if a bit lonely YouTuber, so I’ve always rooted for his success. Congrats to him on launching his brand. I love that he made this palette vegan. Also, I love that he’s from central Florida.

Patrick Starrr Visionary Palette Thoughts

One Size Patrick Starrr Visionary Swatches

In my opinion the shimmers need more pigmentation but they’re fine when used wet. The mattes kicked up a bit of dust in the pan but applied and blended nicely. I feel the mattes performed better than the shimmers. I like how the colors build up on the lids. I really love the ratio of shimmers to mattes because I have hooded eyes and always need to balance my shimmer with mattes.

The Visionary Eyeshadow Palette is a warm and cool toned neutrals palette with a pop of blue. It’s perfect for neutral lovers. If you’re looking for brights, you’ll be bored.

You can create a gorgeous blue smoky eye with Rebel Grey, Blue Mon Dieu, Turban Legend, Taupe of my Game, and Manila Sands.

Olive It! and Matcha make a beautiful olive green smoky eye that you can deepen with a touch of Turban Legend.

Titleholder and Brownie make a pretty gold look.

I love the combo of Everything and Booked for a stunning rose gold nude look.

Walnut Strut and Brownie create a lovely bronzey neutral eye.

What do you think of the new ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr Visionary Eyeshadow Palette? What combos would you create with it?

  1. I don’t think most of those shades would work for me, but it looks like they are very pigmented. I wonder if he’ll come out with more palettes.

  2. It looks pretty .. and I ‘never say never’! But, I have SO MANY neutrals .. thanks for reviewing!

  3. This doesn’t feel like a Phyrra palette. These are not really your colors but I know you will do some beautiful looks with them. I like the shimmery ones best but I don’t usually fall for mattes.

  4. I feel I already have all these colors, or close enough not to need this palette. But I’m impressed by the ingredient list and the pigmentation looks good! Great starter pallete, or for autumn neutrals

  5. Thanks for your review. Sadly, I’m bored. I couldn’t or wouldn’t use half the palette so it’s a pass for me.

    1. To me, this looked like a palette for either 1. people who are new to makeup or 2. people who love neutrals. I figured it would be boring for those of us who have large collections.

  6. It’s just not exciting to me at all. I have way too many neutrals as it is. I am seeing so many neutral palettes with one or two actual colors in them lately. I wonder why this is a thing.

    1. I feel like a lot of brands like to make neutral palettes with a pop of blue or purple or hot pink to get you to gravitate towards that bright and impulse buy it.

  7. It’s looks like a good basic neutrals palette. It’s not something I’d go for, but the mustardy yellows and olives are on-trend. Patrick seems like a nice person, and I hope the palette is a success for him.

    1. It’s definitely a nice, but safe neutrals palette. The yellows, greens, and blue are the more ‘adventuresome colors’ in it. When I think about more adventuresome neutrals palettes I look at the Lime Crime Venus XL 2 (sage greens, peaches, bronzes, browns) or the Huda Beauty New Nudes (pinks, reds, peaches, creams). Both of those palettes are more wearable for my skin tone, as well as more fun to wear due to the diversity of the shades.
