New Beauty at Sephora

Kat Von D Chrysalis Palette

Sephora has several new beauty goodies that they’ve added to their site this week. I wanted to let you know about them so you didn’t miss out while the Sephora 15% off sale is still going on. Use codes ROUGETICKET (for VIB Rouge members), VIBTICKET (for VIB members) or TICKET (for members) for 15% off. I believe the codes are good until April 11, 2014.

New Beauty at Sephora

Kat Von D Chrysalis Eyeshadow Palette – $46
This is a cool-toned palette, so I ordered it and I will be reviewing it.

Kat Von D Monarch Palette

Kat Von D Monarch Eyeshadow Palette – $46
This is a warm-toned palette. It looks lovely.

Too Faced Bonjour Soleil Palette

Too Faced Bonjour Soleil Palette – $44
This new Too Faced bronzer palette just arrived at Sephora. I’ll be reviewing it this week.

Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette

Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette – $36
This is the updated Natural Eyes palette with 3 new shades – Nudie, Cashmere Bunny and Chocolate Martini. I’ll be reviewing it soon. You can see my tutorial using it here.

Buxom Nudes & Brights

Buxom Nudes & Brights Glosses – $32
Buxom released this set of 6 glosses that I’ve toyed with picking up because I would use 4 of the 6 glosses. That pink is quite flattering on my skintone.

Bite Beauty VIB Rouge Luminous Creme Lipstick

Bite Beauty VIB Rouge Luminous Creme Lipstick – $24
This is a lilac colored lipstick especially for VIB Rouge members at Sephora.

I’m not a fan of how Sephora treats VIB and VIB Rouge items. I wish they had their own landing page or they were all accessible from our Account admins, because I feel like you have to hunt for them on the site.

Bite Beauty VIB Rouge Creme Lipstick

Bite Beauty VIB Rouge Creme Lipstick – $28
This is a red creme lipstick in the Bite matte formula.

Too Faced Pardon My French Set

Too Faced Pardon My French Set – $49
I have this set and I will be reviewing it. You can see my swatches from the palette from last year here.

Too Faced Melted Candy Lipstick

Too Faced Melted Candy Lipstick – $21
This is another VIB exclusive. I wouldn’t have known about it if one of my awesome readers hadn’t tipped me off. I purchased it and will be reviewing it along with the rest of the Too Faced Liquid Lipsticks. It’s been in and out of stock all weekend.

Josie Maran Infinity Lip and Cheek Creamy Oil

Josie Maran Infinity Lip and Cheek Creamy Oil – $18
I bought one of these to review for you. They come in 6 shades. Everlasting Honey (rosy nude), Limitless Pink (medium pink), Timeless Coral (vibrant warm coral), Endless Guava (vibrant poppy pink), Always Cherry (vibrant cool red), and Boundless Berry (rich cool wine). My friend Izzy raved about the Argan Infinity Cream Intensive Creamy Oil recently (see her review) so it made me curious about these products.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Makeup Brushes

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Makeup Brushes – Price Varies from $18 to $28
OCC released a ton of brushes! Tapered blending, small blush, precision lip, foundation brush, angled liner, small shader, concealer, large powder, short shader, angled blending and large shader. I have the lip brush, blush brush, foundation brush and concealer brush. I want to pick up the short shader and tapered blending brush.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit

Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit – $40
Anastasia is more than just brows! She has a contour kit out. This contouring collectible contains six blendable formulas to sculpt and define features. Removable and refillable, the set contains all the color needed to start expertly emphasizing eyes, cheekbones, nose, and jawline. Shades – Java, Vanilla, Fawn, Havana, Banana, Sand

bareMinerals Multi-Tasking Stars

bareMinerals Multi-Tasking Stars – $49
This super cute kit comes with Spring2Triple Take Color, Gloss & Stain in Coral Pink, Lash Domination 10-In-1 Volumizing Mascara in Intense Black, 5-in-1 Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow,  Ready Bronzer & Cheek Tint Duo, and Natural Light Mineral Veil Finishing Powder.

bareMinerals Bareskin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation

bareMinerals Bareskin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation SPF 20 – $29
This isn’t out yet, but I definitely want to give it a try! There are 20 shades in this foundation and it will be available on May 1. It’s supposed to be a tone-correcting mineral foundation and skincare serum in one.

  1. I am so excited for the Anastasia Contour Kit. I’m really looking forward to your review because I have a similar skin tone (NARS Sheer Glow in Siberia is a perfect match for me too!). 🙂

    Adding to the wish list:
    – those Kat Von D palettes! So pretty, especially the cool toned one.
    – Melted Candy *might* end up being my favorite shade of all – I love bright pink-reds/red-pinks. Can’t wait to see it swatched!

    Still on the wish list:
    – Too Faced Natural Eyes palette. Swatched it at Sephora yesterday. It’s so lovely. I will end up buying it eventually – I know I’ll use it a lot and I adore Too Faced palettes (especially the ones in the tins!). But…I have so many neutral palettes so I’m holding off on it for now. *still so tempting*
    – Too Faced Pardon My French Set. Was hoping to see it in person yesterday but they didn’t have it. I don’t have last year’s Summer Eyes so I need this kit mainly for the palette. I love the bag and all the extra goodies too! What a treat!

  2. Ohh I’m curious about that new bareMinerals foundation, seems like they’ll have a lot of shades + spf is always good (especially where I live because it’s ALWAYS SUNNY) I wonder how moisturizing it is gonna be however.

  3. Oh my…my wishlist just got a loooottttt longer LOL, thanks for the update!

      1. Too Faced Melted Lipsticks and the Bronzer palette and love Kat Von D the cool toned palette. I also have a sample of the new Bare Minerals foundation and if it goes well that as well. Ugghhh maybe I should just get everything LOL

  4. Oooh I really like that cool-toned Kat Von D palette! I can’t wait to see your review!

      1. I think the only thing that I would dislike about this palette is the packaging. From the photos, it looks like the palette is made of cardboard, and my cardboard palettes always get banged up pretty badly (I travel a lot).

        1. I’m not sure if they’re metal or cardboard. My older palettes from Kat Von D are metal and the newer ones have been cardboard.

  5. i love chrysalis’ packaging! but i’m running out of storage space for palettes which should be a good indication to me that i should stop… i could always use another good short shader so i might pick up the occ brush. you should totally do the buxom set. i got the huge one during xmas season and love them all!

    1. I need to buy another Ikea Alex (tall). They’re one of the best storage devices for nail polish and makeup. I love my eDiva and Sherrieblossom too, as they’re by my makeup table, but I need the larger Alex to hold everything that I don’t have in reach for immediate use

      1. i ended up with a stack of container store’s luxe acrylic wide modular drawers with a makeup organizer on top for now and i’m afraid if makeup moved away from my countertop, i’d forget about them and never use it again…

        1. I have a few purple acrylic blush holders that are nice, and I bought a ton of acrylic lipstick holders from The Container Store, and they fit into my Alex nicely 🙂

  6. Today must be the day makeup has come out new online CVS just sent and email also. These are really nice and have great pictures makes me want them. Thank you, Jerri
