NARS Love from The Makeup Show Orlando

While I was at the Makeup Show Orlando I went to the NARS booth… 3 times. Yes, I love me some NARS! I wanted to share the items I picked up at the convention.

Eye Paints Multipurpose Eyeshadow and Eyeliner
Intergalactic – silver shimmer
Iskandar – gold shimmer
Black Valley – black matte
Transvaal – deep grey matte (press sample)
Solomon Islands – bright turquoise blue matte (press sample)
Ubangi – black with blue shimmer (press sample)
Tatar – black with purple shimmer (press sample)

At this point there are only 3 Eye Paints I don’t down –
Mesopotamia (brown), Mozambique (olive), and Snake Eyes (black with green shimmer)

And I really probably should have picked up Mozambique, because it’s a pretty unique shade.

Adult Content Blush Palette
Zen – neutral beige
Miss Liberty – soft shimmering peach
Deep Throat – flirty, sheer peach with golden shimmer
Desire – bright pink

I adore NARS blushes. My NARS Danmari palette has Hungry Heart, Orgasm, Desire, Casino, Super Orgasm and Sin. I also have Silvana (natural peach terracotta), Nico (natural glow), Liberté (burnished apricot) and a few others. I really love getting blush palettes for the variety and portability. Sin is one of those shades that’s perfect for Fall, as it’s a berry tone with golden shimmer.

I’ve been wanting to add Zen, Miss Liberty and Deep Throat to my collection for a long time, so being able to get them all in one palette was perfect for me.

On my wish list for blushes is Albatross (luminous glow), New Order (sheer highlighter with golden shimmer), and Angelika (cotton candy pink with gold and silver sparkle).

I’m lusting after the NARS Guy Bourdin One Night Stand Palette and the NARS Splendor in the Grass Cheek Palette. Though I wish the Splendor in the Grass had a different shade than Dolce Vita in it, as it does have Angelika and Albatross in it.

Shimmer Eyeshadow
Galapagos – bitter chocolate infused with gold

I have more NARS eyeshadow duos than singles, but I have the iconic Tropic (teal with silver sparkle), Bavaria (deep sea blue), Bombshell (platinium), Yamal (brown), China Blue (deep blue), Euphrate (mint), and Voyage (light brown). You can see swatches of some of my duos here.

Velvet Matte Lip Pencil
Dragon Girl – vivid siren red

I LURVE the Velvet Matte lip pencil format! It sticks around! I’v got Train Bleu (vampy aubergine), Damned (magenta), and Never Say Never (lilac rose). They’re an Allure Best of Beauty Award winner for a good reason – they look beautiful, are comfortable to wear and last.

In the video I’m wearing NARS Damned with a little bit of NARS Satin Lip pencil in Yu at the center of my lips. I think the combination is quite flattering.

I mention that I Love NARS Sheer Glow in Siberia. I also love NARS Finland Tinted Moisturizer. I’ve been wearing that by itself around the house lately. I also love the Radiant Cream foundation in Siberia. The only one I’m not too crazy about is the Sheer Matte.

Candle
I’m not sure the specific scent, but Ray smelled the candle they were burning and had to have it, so it came home with us too.
