Answer: I think it was the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. I splurged on a jumbo tube because I’d finished up my sample, loved it, and had a 20% off coupon.

  1. I got a sample of the Benefit They’re Real tinted primer and I bought a full size. I like the effect it has once I put black mascara over it and it doesn’t clump. It’s good for dark mascara, I prefer the white lash primers for colored mascara. Really disappointed that MAC discontinued their Prep + Prime lash though. I bought their False Lashes Maximizer and although it’s white it’s very clumpy and doesn’t work the same. The Lancome lash primer is pretty good though.

  2. I got a sample of the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Hydrating boost moisturizer and I’m totally hooked. Scraped the last bit out of the tub and a full size is on the way!

  3. Trying the UD Vice Lipstick samples from Ulta convinced me to buy a full-size version of Snitch, which is possibly the only pinky/peachy coral lip shade I can pull off. It’s also a shade I never would have considered if I didn’t get the sample due to my previous bad experiences with lighter coral lip shades.

  4. Oh man, this happens to me a lot. The Vice lipstick samples that Ulta sent out led me to buy some full sized UD lipsticks. I got a little sample of GlamGlow ThirstyMud and I immediately bough a full size. Same thing with my Benefit Push-up Liner. I’m a sucker for marketing and samples!

  5. I received the Vice multi sample pack and tried and loved Fireball and promptly bought it. It looks great on you Phyrra!

  6. I received a sample size Revolution High Color Lip Gloss in Bittersweet and then purchased the two-pack of travel size of Liar and Anarchy. I love how they act like a lip stain.
