Milani Shadow Eyez and Liquid Eyes Pencils Review and Swatches
Today I’ve got Milani Naturally Chic Shadow Eyez and Liquid Eyes (both types) pencils for you. After searching through countless stores to buy the LE Milani Shadow Eyez pencils in Tampa and coming up empty handed, I broke down and ordered them from Cherry Culture’s website. I received the Liquid Eye pencils a while back from PR. I figured I would combine them for today’s post. You can see my previous Shadow Eyez review here.
Milani Cosmetics is cruelty-free. They’re available for purchase from CherryCulture.com, Amazon.com, Milani.com, and Drugstore.com as well as in stores such as CVS, Walgreens and Target. Unless you live in Tampa, and then you won’t find them in Walgreens or Target.

Milani Says This About the Liquid Eyes

Color glides on effortlessly and stays in place for smudge-proof, long-lasting wear. Here at Milani, that means up to 24 hours! And because it’s naturally 100% paraben-free, you can be sure your bold look is also a gentle one.

Milani Naturally Chic Shadow Eyez Pencils
Almond Cream – peachy beige matte
Sand Dunes – shimmery beige with a hint of gold, almost like champagne
Golden Bronze – golden bronze shimmer
Espresso Line – deep dark chocolate brown matte
Black Ink – carbon black matte
Milani Liquid Eyes Pencils
Perfect Purple – purple with violet micro-shimmer
Graphite – charcoal grey with silver micro-shimmer
Brown – dark cool brown matte
Black – black matte
Just like the original Shadow Eyez, the colors are richly pigmented. They apply easily and once set they don’t budge until you go to take them off. They’re not waterproof, so if you get wet and rub at them they will come off. I love that there are some matte shades! I especially love that there’s a matte black, as it’s a great base for other eyeshadows. I’m honestly puzzled as to why these colors aren’t part of the permanent collection, considering that they’re shades that the majority of people would reach for on a daily basis.
The Liquid Eyes eyeliners are just as pigmeted as the Shadow Eyez eyeshadow pencils. They set in the same fashion and don’t smudge. I really love the Perfect Purple and Graphite, as both are gorgeous. These colors don’t appear to be Limited Edition, either, so you don’t have to rush out to buy them.
What do you think of the Milani Naturally Chic Shadow Eyez eyeshadow pencils and Liquid eye pencils? See any must haves?
I hope Cherry Culture will have a Black Friday sale. I’m looking at Almond Cream and maybe Café Au Lait.

@Tuhina Bagh I hope you find them soon 🙂
They’re sold at multiple sites including CherryCulture.com
okayeee..
I list where you can buy them from in my review.
where do i get it from???
That golden bronze is just magnificent! I’m super excited because my local NEX finally got Milani products in. Now I just need to wait for payday! 😀
kitschvixen Yay for local Milani!
liquid eyez
Oh I love my eye shadow pencils, especially the almond cream one 😀 They’re all great though, love that there’s matte one’s too.
@Jennifer Innes Yeah I rarely see matte pencils!
Shipra, these are really great ones 🙂
Thanks to you letting me know about their sale a few weeks ago, i was finally able to get Almond Cream from cherryculture. I bought 2 because I knew I’d need a backup, though my sister is actually using it right now lol. I love it so far, I’ve worn it a few times with some colored gel liners and neutral shadows and it’s awesome. I wish I could get the rest, I really wanted the black one to use with duochrome eyeshadows because most black bases crease on me so I don’t usually bother. I also can’t fathom why these are limited, it seems so silly since they’re bound to be go-to products for people, as you said.
Yes they do! I adore their eyeshadow pencils.
I’ve been unable to find the LE Shadow Eyez anywhere in Mobile, either. Heading over to Cherry Culture….
Lulubelle107 The only way I found mine was I looked in the regular Shadow Eyez display and they were tucked behind the other colors for some reason!
Corviddreams Lulubelle107 Interesting! I’ll look in the regular displays next time I’m out, thanks! Cherry Culture is out of 2 of the ones I’m wanting 🙁
the shadow eyes are nice the glide on well
@Annamaria Ceko Kyriazis They really do!
I am always on the lookout for a great Bismuth Oxychloride-free product that I can use as an eye shadow base. I have been using the Almond Cream exclusively for that purpose, and it works like a champ. I have no creasing on my oily lids, even after being out and about in the hot weather. I have been keeping my crease and brow area matte, so what I usually do is apply the Almond Cream, and then apply my matte crease color and brow color, and then blend that out. I use Pixie Epoxy on the lid, because my day isn’t complete without glitter or shimmer SOMEWHERE, and then apply my shimmery shadows over that. I am 43 and trying to tone my eye shadow down a bit to compensate for the age related issues I am experiencing, such as a bit of hoodedness. This is working pretty well for me. I went back to my local Walgreens and saw the pencils were on sale and picked up two more, I love them so much! I will be sad when they go away.
I also picked up Sand Dunes and it is a lovely color. It is more flattering on my skin tone than Champagne Toast.
Corviddreams Yeah I think they’re beautiful and should definitely be part of the permanent line up.
I just got the bronze one. really like it. stayed in this 90+ heat
bNiiontweet Always a plus!
I’m definitely heading to Cherry Culture for backups of Almond Cream! It’s cool seeing how the shades look on a different skintone. I might pick up the Liquid Eyes too, although I don’t use liquid liner that often… I’m just so impressed with Milani’s liners, though!
bcrueltyfree Their liquid eyes are pencils, instead of liquid, but they’re giving a ‘liquid like’ finish. Glad you like them 🙂
