Meow Cosmetics Joys of Summer Collection Review and Swatches

As promised, I have the Meow Cosmetics Joys of Summer collection review and swatches for you. I think you’ll love the colors! With a whopping 24 colors, Meow’s Joys of Summer collection is gigantic! This collection is customer inspired and customer named. Some shadows are velvety or creamy, others are iridescent, and some are metallic. All are lovely.

As expected, this is a very picture heavy post. Lots of swatches 🙂 These are all on Meow’s Light Primer.

Flaming Marshmallows
a complex charred color – like the edges of that burnt marshmallow – with copper fire

Mauve with strong golden iridescence, almost velvety. I love this color! It’s like a more pigmented version of Urban Decay Tainted.

Soft green, almost minty with delicate gold, blue and green iridescence and lots of shimmer.

Cricket Serenade
fresh cut grass green with golden sheen

Rich grass green with yellow undertones and  lots of green sparkles. Can be rubbed down to a more velvety finish.

Skee Ball
blast from the past antique sage with golden iridescence

Please remember, color is subjective. These are my interpretations of the colors. I use daylight bulbs to take true to color photos of the eyeshadows. I make sure the colors on my hand match the photos, which match my computer monitor. Different monitors can be calibrated in different ways, so I check the colors on my cell phone, a Mac laptop, as well as my machine. I’ve done the best I can to ensure color clarity.
