New Teal Thursday! It’s a Makeup Geek Typhoon Duochrome Tutorial featuring the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette and OCC Makeup Rime too. I demo the Kat Von D Lock It Color Correcting primer in Fair and the Urban Decay Color Corrector in Mint. I’ve included 4 different lips with this look, so this is a pretty picture intensive post.

If you watch the tutorial you can see UD’s Mint color corrector in action. It works to neutralize redness nicely. I just dabbed it on my face and then took a damp beauty blender to blend it out.

I absolutely love the Kat Von D Lock-it Color Corrector Eyeshadow Primer in Fair. After having a few misses from KVD (the La Vida Loca Remix, the High Voltage primer, and the Blush Duo), I’m so glad I gave this a chance and picked it up. It evens out the color on my eyes, it holds my eyeshadow in place all day, and it’s easy to apply. I like the stick shape.

While I absolutely love the Petit Four + Rime lip combo, I mean, it’s so gorgeous and it matches Typhoon, I actually think Marshmallow looks pretty great too.

  6. THIS LOOK IS SO GORGEOUS!!! OCC Rime is my favorite lip for this look bc it rocks so hard with Typhoon. ColourPop Marshmallow looks amazing too though! I hope I can get that gray pencil and both of those lip colors! I never skip lip liner and I definitely don’t have a gray one like that (& I need one)! I am in awe of the Rime combo.

    I need to try that Kat Von D primer in Fair! I love the idea of a
    stick primer for the eyes – it would be easier to get the product on the
    inner/outer corners & lower lash lines with more precision. I’m
    also very fair and the veins in my eyelids show through the
    skin. This primer would definitely cover them! And that UD green corrector!!! I need to get that – it totally evened everything out!!! *o/*

    I’ve been obsessed with the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette ever since I got it. It’s become my go-to palette that I use with every look! When you applied MUG Typhoon my heart skipped a beat – THAT COLOR THAT GLOW!!! <333

  10. Hmm… I love all of the lip colors. I agree with the other Rachel heh! Very wearable but definitely a head turner- in a good way 😉 I think that I like Rime the best with this eye!

    1. Thank you so much Rachel! I love Rime sooo much. I need to try it with a blue pencil next time but I was hoping (rightfully) that it woud be a closer match to Typhoon with the deeper base. I love duochrome looks so much.

  15. Ooh I Love a Good Duo-Chrome Too but I am More into the Sparkly & Shimmery Eyeshadows & Anything Else that Sparkles! I Have Some Pretty Meow Cosmetics Eyeshadows that I Got b/c of You and I am Loving Them! There is this One Eyeshadow that is Like a Dark Olive Color with Gold in it and it is Just Beautiful! The Next on My List is Those Aromaleigh Cosmetics b/c I See Quite a Few that I Love! I am So Happy that They Let You Purchase Samples to Try Out First Too!
