Makeup Geek Blue Green Foiled Cruelty-Free Tutorial
Happy Monday! Today I’ve got a Makeup Geek Blue Green Foiled Cruelty-Free Tutorial for you. I used MUG Center Stage, Houdini, Jester and Galaxy, along with Darling Girl #BreakTheInternet and Snowboarding Cutie. Yesterday was my last day of wearing my contacts before my surgery. I’m supposed to stop wearing my contacts at least 7 days before the surgery, so I decided to make Sunday my last day.

I had an epic fail twice with this look. First, when I went to film the tutorial I didn’t realize I was cutting off the bottom of my eye. Quite annoying. Then when I went to take the photos, I couldn’t get any good ones that really show off the lid colors. Regardless, I hope the pictures that I did share help to convey that these are really lovely colors that blend together easily.
Have you tried any of the MUG foiled eyeshadows? What do you think of this trio? Let me know below!
Amo el delineado dorado, va muy bien con la paleta de colores que usaste. Y el labial rosa es perfecto. ♥
Oh, I’m so sorry I write that on Spanish! jajajajaja!
I love the golden eyeliner, it goes amazing with the colors you used. And the pink lipstick is perfect. ♥
No worries! My spanish is very rusty but google was able to translate. Thank you for your kind words!
This is an absolutely gorgeous look. The Jester shadow looks more gold in the photos (properly green in the video), which kind of gives a “sun coming from behind the clouds” feel to it, with the gradiated blues.

Thank you!
A perfect look for your green eyes.
This looks beautiful on you!
Beautiful!
Oh my gosh… I love all of the looks you create… but this by far is my absolutely favorite one and so stunning on you. 😉 I want to recreate this.
Thank you so much Honey!
These shadows are gorgeous!! I’m not sure which lip is my favorite, but I think the second one might just be a teeny bit ahead haha
well, it is pink 🙂
Absolutely stunning look on you! The aqua/teal/blue/purple combo on your eyes looks gorgeous with your eye color and makes your eyes so big and bright! 🙂 I know you don’t do nude lips very often but the Melted Sugar is so perfect with the eye look. I need to try out these MUG Foiled Shadows! So excited that you used to the COVER FX Contour Kit for this look, beautiful. I got it mine and I’m working on a review for my own first blog post, can’t wait to show it to you:)
Thank you so much Souhalia 🙂 So I have to say, I have a love hate with the Cover FX contour kit. Love the highlight shades, hate the contour shades. I’ve got to film a video on it.
Oh ok, thanks for letting me know, definitely looking forward to seeing your video!
Oh by the way I saw you are going to be a Cover FX Brand Ambassador again for 2015…that’s great! I love that photo that they posted of you on facebook!
I was thinking that the contour shades would have been a tad dark for your skintone perhaps, since you are a tiny bit lighter and more porcelain/ivory than I am. I am still working with it and trying to mix and match the shades around to find the right combo, and trying to work on blending. I believe you do have a contouring tutorial somewhere in your archives, I need to watch it to work on my technique!
love the blend of colors!
Thank you so much!
Gorgeous eyes, I love the pairing w/ neutral lippy.
Thanks Kath 🙂 I gotta try neutrals on occasion 😉
Wow – I need to grab those shadows – I love the look! The second lip set is my fav too! Gorgeous!
Thanks so much Lisa!
I absolutely love the look. I like how the shimmer is concentrated on the center of the lid, and the gold just on the edge of the liner line. SO pretty. Also love how you are doing your lip swatches lately with the rings.
Thank you so much Justina!
This is an absolutely beautiful look on you–really stunning!!
It’s definitely my favorite that I’ve done recently. I feel like all my pictures fell short of capturing how pretty it was.
I love foiled looks! They are just so pretty!
Me too Eugenia!
This is just beautiful. I love how you incorporated colors I’d never have thought to put together.
Thanks Marcia!
omg this is beautiful… this is mermaid makeup. I want every single thing you used.
It’s definitely mermaid makeup!
I think that is one of my all time favorite eye looks I have ever seen on you. Good luck with your surgery! 😀
Thank you Erika!
I think your photos turned out well! I love this look.
Thanks Judy!
I know we’re talking about eyes here, but your hair is AMAZING like that! I may need a tutorial!
Oh sure, this was actually really quick and easy 🙂
Suuuuuuper pretty! The gold on your lashline is such a great finisher!
Thanks Alison <3
Absolutely gorgeous! Good luck with your surgery 🙂
Thank you Kelly!
I know you’re a purple girl, but those shades look so gorgeous with your eyes!
Thanks so much Allison!
This eye look is gorgeous!!!
Thank you Leticia 🙂
I love Jester in this look. I was just looking at these yesterday on MUG, but the combos are all sold out.
Aww, hopefully they’ll be back soon!
I love how subtle that gold liner is. Another beautiful look.
Thanks Aleya!
Hi Phyrra,
I am riveting over foiled eye shadows these days. I’ll pick these sometime soon.
And I liked the edginess of this look. =)
Thank you!
