Merry Christmas Eve! I wanted to show you the gorgeous Literary Lacquers Grasshopper with Cotton Candy Hair. Grasshopper with Cotton Candy Hair is from the Harry Dresden series (The Dresden Files) by Jim Butcher. The  main character, Harry, is a wizard and he calls his apprentice Molly the grasshopper with cotton candy hair. At one point her hair is half cotton candy pink and half cotton candy blue. She’s adorable. It’s one of my all time favorite book series and I love the two characters. I recently reread the entire series.

So this is a really cool nail polish for Literary Lacquers to have made. It’s from their Community Collection. I’ll be sharing the rest of the collection with you soon.

Availability
Literary Lacquers on Etsy (they’re closed until January 2, 2015).

For my swatches, I did 2 coats of polish. On my ring finger I have an accent of KBShimmer Lightning Ridge flakie on top. This is really a stunning polish. I took pictures outdoors in direct sunlight, holding two different Christmas Tree ornaments.

It’s a beautiful nail polish. The formula doesn’t pool at the cuticles. It applies smoothly and the holo is strong in this one (tee hee). Seriously though, it’s easy to apply and wears well. To me it looks like a grass green with tiny blue and pink sparkles in it.

What do you think of Grasshopper with the Cotton Candy Hair? I think it’s a pretty unique green and perfect for Christmas!
