Dust In The Bottle
a holographic glitter top coat with micro fine glitter swimming in a clear base.
This is a lovely, delicate top coat with very tiny glitter. Perfectly named!
Alloy Matey!
the most blingy silver polish yet, packed with micro and fine silver holographic glitters for full coverage in 2-3 coats.
I love this one. I LOVE all the holographic glitters, so pretty.
Foiled
The smallest of the silver flakes, Foiled offers the smoothest metallic look of the 4 shades and is best layered for full coverage.
This is Ray’s favorite because he likes the silver metallic.
R-E-F-L-E-C-T
A medium sized metallic silver flake polish.
I think this one is neat because of the larger size flakes.
Precious Petals
a glitter top coat with neon pink, purple, white, and aqua glitters swimming in a clear base. A fine holographic dust adds sparkle that just shines in the sun.
This really is perfect against any of the KBShimmer cremes.
Vitamin Sea
An aqua jelly polish with pink, silver, and micro holographic glitters.
I really like the aqua jelly but I’m personally not fond of the glitter colors in this one.
What Are You Wading For?
A deeper toned periwinkle liner holo polish with indigo blue shimmer.
I really love the linear holo effect on this shade. It definitely feels pretty and summery.
Pink-a Colada
a violet leaning pink crelly polish with holographic glitters in lime green, light blue and pink with full coverage in 3 coats.
I love the pink crelly but I’m personally not fond of the glitter colors in this one.
You can see more of these bleached neons in my KBShimmer Summer Collection Part 1.
Take The Punny And Run
travels from fuchsia to lime green with shades of gold and copper between and is the most vibrant shifting of the flake polishes.
This is an interesting one but my least favorite because I don’t like how the orange and lime green look together.
Pros And Bronze
a gold toned flake polish with subtle shifts to warm bronze and orange with hints of green at extreme angles.
This is another one I love because of the gold hues. It always makes me think of dragons.
Look on the Night Side
This shifting shade goes from a rich green, to a violet purple, and offers hints of royal blue.
This one makes me think of a carnival at night. Lots of rich colors at play.
She’s Beyond Kelp!
From lime green to blue, She’s Beyond Kelp! picks up shades of grass green and aqua at different angels.
This is my favorite of the multi-chromes! The golden green, grass green, aqua, teal and blue shades all just make me happy.
Moody Hues
rich jewels tones in purple and blue showing off hints of copper at extreme angles.
I love this one too. It’s deep and dark.
We Be Jammin’
bright magenta polish with blue shimmer and micro holographic sparkle.
This magenta pinky purple is awesome. I’m sure it comes as no surprise that I love this color since it’s my favorite lipstick shade. Try it layered on top of different purple cremes to play up the pink or blue tones.
I didn’t have trouble with the nail polish formula of any of the KBShimmer summer collection, not that I normally do. This formula is very smooth for me, easy to apply and wears well.
As you can see from my swatches above, the neon cremes look great on their own or with a top coat. I was really pleasantly surprised by how cool Dust in the Bottle and Alloy Matey! looked on top of them. I knew Precious Petals would be nice. I really love how Dust in the Bottle and Alloy Matey! can amp up any mani. I think Dust in the Bottle could be used on any of KBShimmer’s cremes for a fun but understated mani.
Everyone who’s seen me in We Be Jammin’ swears it was made for me. It’s such a pretty magenta shade.
I absolutely love the multi-chromes! They go on smooth but catch the light. I’ve actually worn She’s Beyond Kelp! in two different manis because it just keeps grabbing my attention. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments from wearing She’s Beyond Kelp!, Moody Hues and Pros & Bronze. It’s been hard to keep myself from wanting to wear them non-stop!
My personal recommendations from the collection in order of OMG LOVE to Really Adore are – She’s Beyond Kelp!, We Be Jammin’, Moody Hues, Pros & Bronze, Dust in the Bottle, Sarong Place, Sarong Time, Bahama Drama, Foiled and Alloy Matey!.
What do you think of this collection? Are there any colors that scream your name?
These are gorgeous! I love all of the flakies, which is why I have them all! 🙂
The foiled polishes are my favorite!
I NEEEED REFLECT IN MY LIFE #KTHANKSBYE
Those foily ones omg! Get in mah life!
Alloy Matey and several others are on the top of my polish wish list!
So many great shades! I really like Leggo my Mango and She’s Beyond Kelp!
They all look so pretty and so it is difficult to choose my favorites.
I love all the shades. So fun to look at your colorful fingers
Take The Punny And Run is still my fav! Gorgeous!
Take the Punny and Run will definitely have to be mine!!! It’s freaking gorgeous.
These are all stunning. I adore that magenta and Vitamin Sea. And…shimmers!
This is a to-die-for collection, but then kb shimmer polishes are the ones that always call to me. Take the Punny And Run is just so unique, I adore it as well as about a million others from the collection
They have one of the best formulas that I’ve ever tried. Their polishes work really well for me.
WHOA, these are all so gorgeous, but you know me and my love of purple! EXCELLENT swatches, as always Courtney!
Yay so happy to hear it 🙂
