Happy Monday! Today I’ve got the KBShimmer Spring 2015 Collection, as well as the Pantone Color of the Year Marsala shade Men Are From Mars-ala. The Spring 2015 collection launches February 6, 2015. The Spring 2015 collection is inspired by sun-kissed days and lush gardens blooming, the Easter season, and Pantone’s 2015 Spring color, Aquamarine. It’s filled with creamy pastels, metallic glitters and sparkle and shine. I’m a big fan of Aquamarine and I like it much better than Marsala!
KBShimmer Spring 2015 Collection
Eyes White Open
white cream with 2 coat coverage
You can almost get away with 1 coat. This is great for nail art.
Meow or Never
Based on the Pantone Spring Color Glacier Gray, this is a very pale gray, almost white shade, with pops of purple, gray periwinkle and sky blue.
I love the glitters in Meow or Never.
I’m so Sweet Pea
The palest of purple base set off by an explosion of glitters in pink, mint, purple and turquoise.
I love all the glitter colors in this one! How could I not? The pale purple tint is barely perceptible.
Cool Hand Cuke
This pale minty green polish is loaded with patel glitters in circles, triangles, stars and hexes. A toh of holographic sparkle completes this pastel polish. I suspect the name is a nod to the old movie Cool Hand Luke.
The star glitter is so cute!
a pale, bubblegum pink polish. glitters with pastel aqua stars, coral triangles, lavender dots, red squares and silver holo hexes in a pink base.
I like the star glitter and coral triangles in this one!
To Peach His Own
a pale peach polish with holographic glitters in lime green, gold, violet and magenta.
I like the pale peach base shade. I feel like the magenta looks more red. Between the magenta and lime green glitter this actually makes me think of Christmas.
Based on the Spring 2015 Pantone Color Aquamarine, this has a pale sky blue base, a mix of purple, gold, white and pink glitters, with a hint of micro glitter.
I really like the micro glitter in Wind Swarm.
Funky Cold Patina
like a long forgotten ancient copper statue turned blue-green in color, this polish features a cool turquoise green base with pops of metallic copper blue and purple
I like that this is bright (and the name makes me giggle). The pops of copper and purple glitter are nice.
Ins and Sprouts
pale citron green linear holo
pale blue in color, this cool toned polish shines with linear holographic sparkle
Such a pretty holo!
Thistle Be The Day
a pale pinkish purple that shines in the sun with a linear holographic rainbow
I love this one! The holo is stunning.
Based on the 2015 Pantone Color, Strawberry Ice, this peachy-rose colored polish shows off gold shimmer indoors and a linear holographic rainbow shine while outside
I didn’t expect to love this one but I do. I like the inspiration for the color and the holo and gold shimmer.
Men are From Mars-ala
A linear holographic red-brown
While I’m certainly not a Pantone Marsala fan, I think that this is a beautiful interpretation of Marsala and a great way to wear the shade. (See my Best Ways to Wear Marsala)

Sweet Egg-scape – To Peach His Own – Wind Swarm – Funky Cold Patina – Ins and Sprouts – Blue-d Lines – Thistle Be the Day – Blush Money – Men are From Mars-ala
These holos are just stunning. Seriously And the formula is perfection.
KBShimmer’s formula is typically easy to work with and I found the shades in this collection to be the same. The holos are especially amazing.
My favorites are Meow or Never, I’m So Sweet Pea, Ins and Sprouts, Thistle Be the Day, and Blush Money.
You can expect manis from me featuring this collection soon!
