KBShimmer Spring 2015 Collection

KBShimmer Spring 2015 Collection Review and Swatches

Happy Monday! Today I’ve got the KBShimmer Spring 2015 Collection, as well as the Pantone Color of the Year Marsala shade Men Are From Mars-ala. The Spring 2015 collection launches February 6, 2015. The Spring 2015 collection is inspired by sun-kissed days and lush gardens blooming, the Easter season, and Pantone’s 2015 Spring color, Aquamarine. It’s filled with creamy pastels, metallic glitters and sparkle and shine. I’m a big fan of Aquamarine and I like it much better than Marsala!

KBShimmer Cool Hand Cuke Swatch

Cool Hand Cuke
This pale minty green polish is loaded with patel glitters in circles, triangles, stars and hexes. A toh of holographic sparkle completes this pastel polish. I suspect the name is a nod to the old movie Cool Hand Luke.

The star glitter is so cute!

A linear holographic red-brown

While I’m certainly not a Pantone Marsala fan, I think that this is a beautiful interpretation of Marsala and a great way to wear the shade. (See my Best Ways to Wear Marsala)

KBShimmer Spring Holos

These holos are just stunning. Seriously And the formula is perfection.

KBShimmer’s formula is typically easy to work with and I found the shades in this collection to be the same. The holos are especially amazing.

My favorites are Meow or Never,  I’m So Sweet Pea, Ins and Sprouts, Thistle Be the Day, and Blush Money.

You can expect manis from me featuring this collection soon!

What are your favorites from the KBShimmer Spring 2015 collection?

  1. These are gorgeous. I totally agree, I like the Spring Color Aquamarine, WAY better! It’s much more Spring-like anyway than Marsala and more universally flattering.

  2. omg, those halo are soooo gorgeous! i’m particularly love Blush Money (it looks like a perfect blend of peach to pink) and Ins and Spouts. the bf might enjoy Men Are From Mar-sala. is Blush Money’s and Men Are From Mars-ala’s less obvious than Ins and Spouts in real life? or just the way they were photographed?

    1. They’re less obvious. Also, Blush Money is lighter. My camera was on the wrong setting when I took these photos and I just figured that out >.< I did mani pictures with Blush Money so will try to have them up later today to share with you.

  3. I don’t wear a lot of glitter/shimmer polishes myself, but I think these are so gorgeous 🙂

  4. I’m more of a “Don’t Pink Twice” kind of girl. I feel since I’m so fair these colors would just be blah on me. Maybe because I’m so used to seeing myself in brights in the spring/summer and VERY dark colors in the winter. I do like Sweet Egg-Scape (to layer over pink) and Blush Money (which would be very tame for me LOL).

    1. The palest peach and palest pink don’t look good on me because they make my hands look really red, but I can see why they look good on others! I love the holos ! Wearing Blush Money today and it looks nice 🙂

  5. I love this entire collection. I truly need Men are from Mars-ala and Blush Money
