It Cosmetics Anti Aging Full Coverage Physical SPF50 CC Cream Shades Available
Fair, Light, Medium, Tan, Rich
I made a swatch video for you of the It Cosmetics Anti Aging Full Coverage Physical SPF50 CC Cream. Please give it a thumbs up if you like it!
Here are swatches of all 5 shades of the CC Cream on the back of my hand in direct sunlight with no flash. This product is VERY full coverage and a little goes a long way.
This is Fair CC Cream swatched on my cheek.
This is Fair CC Cream on half of my face.
This is Fair CC Cream over all of my face. You can see it covers my rosacea easily. Fair is a pretty amazing match for my skintone. It just melds into my face. I love that the It Cosmetics CC Cream is SPF 50. It has 9% Titanium Dioxide and 6.3% Zinc Oxide, providing a very strong physical sunblock.
This really does a great job at evening out my skintone, making my redness imperceptible, and improving the the overall appearance of my skin. It feels wonderful when worn, not heavy or cakey. It does have a slight citrus scent that fades pretty quickly, so be aware of that.
I’ve gotten 6 to to 8 hours of wear so far. Setting the CC Cream with NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder really increases the wear time, so if you’ve got an oily t-zone, like I do, it helps.
I would definitely repurchase this product after it runs out! I love it and I’m glad that I gave it a try. It certainly deserves to be the winner of my BB & CC Cream War.

What do you think of the It Cosmetics Anti-Aging Full Coverage Physical SPF50 CC Cream? What’s your favorite It Cosmetics product?
Well I really dont care if they use snales myself,Come on we eat chickens ,
Would you prefer this or CoverFx’s cc cream? If i am coverfx cc G light to medium, which colour should i puchase?
Hi! They’re both great products but I prefer the Cover FX CC Cream because of the time release anti-aging ingredients, the amazing finish (when I apply with my damp makeup sponge), and how comfortable it is to wear. In the CC Cream by Cover FX I am guessing you would wear G Light-Medium.
Snail secretions at the top of the ingredients list? That doesn’t sound cruelty free. Sounds downright nasty. I wonder how the company would explain they’re obtaining the secretions from those snails? That would be snail slime, put simply.
Hi Sandra,
You can always email them directly and ask. I know that they state that they are cruelty free and I believe they are PETA certified.
Well, unless they’ve figured out a manner in which to humanely milk snails for their slime on some kind of free range snail ranch, nothing much they could tell Me would wash with me. I’m not a fan of their products anyways & have no intention of buying their stuff. In regards to PETA, I consider them to be dubious themselves after my husband did some work with them when we were still living overseas.
I’ll email them to see what they say.
here’s their reply:
n terms of your reader’s question please reassure her that we would never harm any animals!!
All
of our products are cruelty-free and we are certified by PETA as a
cruelty free brand of cosmetics for our refusal to ever test on animals.
The link can be found through the PETA
site at caringconsumer.com or
http://www.peta.org/living/beauty-and-personal-care/companies/3015.aspx for the link to our company page.
Snail
secretion filtrate is a cutting edge ingredient typically found
exclusively in high end skincare products. The snails are not harmed in
this process; the secretion
is simply collected off leaves as they walk across them! It can help
increase your skin’s hydration; and after 10 days of use women felt their skin was smoother, softer and they saw
a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles!
I appreciate you taking the time to email them & I’m aware that many ‘high end’ companies use this ingredient. That being said, their response is lame. Not to mention obscure. Who is walking around in these trees in the forest gathering these secretions? Is it paying people to harvest ‘cruelty free’ snail slime? And if so, are they making 100% sure that no snails are being grinded up in their manufacturing process? Highly unlikely. These snails are being farmed in vast quantities for these ‘high end’ products. Much like silk worms are farmed for Skin care/hair care products/fabric making etc. The insects most definitely die for these purposes. Unless IT Cosmetics can prove without a doubt that living beings aren’t dying for their products, I call BS on their response. PETA themselves euthanize somewhere in the neighborhood of 80% of the animals they supposedly ‘save’ every year, so being on their exclusive list is absolutely meaningless
Just so I’m clear on my personal stance, I’m not vegan or vegetarian or somebody who buys only ‘cruelty free’ products (because I’m sure it’s just another marketing scam when it comes to large companies). I’m just somebody who is sick of being lied to by companies such as IT Cosmetics. No offense to you whatsoever as it’s the companies who are the big fat liars, not you. And as I said, I do appreciate your effort in emailing them.
Thanks for your understanding. I try to do the best I can to provide information so that people can make an informed choice when buying. I personally buy only cruelty free beauty products, but I don’t condemn those who choose not to.
It is easy now a days for companies to go “cruelty free”. They all have lists of ingredients that can be used that have already been tested by other companies in the past. also there are research companies/universities that invent ingredients then test them on animals for human safety. when the ingredient passes all tests they then sell the info to other companies and that is how a lot of companies keep their hands clean. Think about it. for example: the cc cream from it cosmetics has a long list of ingredients that have already been tested in the past by some other company. I don’t like animal testing but think about it if we don’t do it then we wouldn’t have most things in the world including all makeup.
Hi Jennifer!
Please check out my Cruelty Free Beauty page. I fully support companies that are not testing on animals now, that do not sell in countries that require testing. I understand that testing happened in the past, but that doesn’t mean that it needs to be happening today.
Sorry, I don’t agree. Not all testing is unbiased or independant. A lot if the testing that’s done is by the cosmetic companies themselves who are pimping their ownAnd it always peeves me when I see the same old same old rubbish coming out
I hit submit by accident 🙁
Sorry, I don’t agree. Not all testing is unbiased or independant. A lot of the testing that’s done is by the cosmetic companies themselves who are pimping their own prodivts. And it always peeves me when I see the same old same old rubbish coming out, yet it’s touted to be the latest & greatest.
Cosmetics have always been around in one form or another & wouldn’t disappear from the market. If we all demanded truly ‘cruelty free’ products with very minimal to no toxins, we’d get far better quality skin care & cosmetics. Simple as that. The technology and ingredients do exist which would allow companies to produce authentic, high quality, truly ‘high end’ products, rather than the crap we’re brainwashed into believing is ‘high end’. It’s consumers’ apathy, laziness to ask companies difficult questions & lack of education which causes us to continue to be bombarded with jacked up products. Ironic, seeing as we’ve never in history had more information readily available to us.
Okay just saying i used it cc cream for a while now and i’m 17 with combination skin and i’m very acne prone it is the only foundation that has worked for me i stopped using it and went to mac pro long wear and i wish i never switched i’m going straight back to ulta this weekend and getting my cc cream again. Yes It cosmetics is completely cruelty free no matter what you think. Because all they would have to do is have a humane snail habitat and when the snails move to different leaves they could collect the slime, and most likely the people who do that work for the company. Just thought id put my two sense into the whole situation they you think you know what your talking about.
I just did a search and you have reviewed Jane Iredale’s BB cream. Again I haven’t used or tried it cosmetics as they aren’t in Canada and l just started researching. I do peels regularly and prefer a higher SPF. I have used elta sunscreen the 45 cream, 41 tinted moisturizer (they only have one shade:( and their 50 on vacation. However l would’ve preferred one that can conceal and well as protect.
I really really love the coverage of the Jane Iredale. How does it compare to It cosmetics in texture, coverage and ingredients? I saw that BHT is listed in It’s CC cream, its one l hear that is very bad for ingesting as it and BHA causes birth defects, it
IT Cosmetics can mosy definitely be found in Canada. I’m from Canada as well & know that my friends here have purchased & do purchase their products within the country.
Also the reason l am drawn to the CC cream from it is bc it has the same SPF ingredients are in the elta sunscreen that l have used.
My apologies for the multiple posts. My keyboard on my cell is glitchy…
Thanks Again Phyrra!!
Luana
(…..con’t from below…) …it is used to preserve freshness. I didn’t go through all the ingredients but l like that is has lots of great ingredients that are beneficial.
Any feedback you have and maybe even where to buy it cosmetics online from Toronto would be very helpful.

LuabellaHi! I actually reviewed the Jane Iredale quite some time ago. I strongly prefer the CC Creams to the BB Creams, and the It Cosmetics and the Cover FX are both the best to me. https://phyrra.net/2012/10/jane-iredale-glow-time-full-coverage-mineral-bb-cream-review-and-swatches.html
I really appreciate your hand swatch. Companies do not photograph their products to show true colour. I am curious if you have tried Jane Iredale cosmetics? I love their warm silk as a pure minerals pressed powder as well as their pure matt as a base. They have a range of colours and tones without being heavy. They also have a BB cream which is full coverage. Being in Canada it cosmetics is actually very expensive with shipping, especially when l have never tried the product. I was curious if you have tried Jane Iredale and if not, if you would be interested in checking out the difference between it cosmetics and Jane. Jane Iredale was formulated for people with rosacea and people who have had laser treatments or procedures they are still healing from.
Hopefully you are as curious as me to find out which is better or the differences between them.
Love you blog savvy smarts : ))

FYI “the shopping channel” in Canada sells it cosmetics and they have a 30 day return policy so you can try it and return it if you don’t like it. I personally didn’t like it because it felt very thick/sticky on but does have full coverage. But I prefer mineral makeup that doesn’t feel like your wearing anything so it is all preference. good luck
AddleysmomHi there! I contacted the company directly with your concerns and received this response:
“I completely understand this customer’s concern but rest assured we would never include any harmful
ingredients in our products! One
should be concerned with sun exposure if the phototoxic oils and
eucalyptus oils are applied directly to the skin. Our CC Cream is an SPF
50+ following
FDA guidelines and the oils contained are extremely diluted among the
other ingredients and are included when testing is performed in the lab
for SPF measuring. We recommend that any concerns be addressed with a
physician or dermatologist!”
Sun sensitivity (phototoxicity) or otherwise
also known as photosensitization occurs when an agent, in our case
certain essential oils, are used and they cause the skin to be more
sensitive to sunlight (actually any ultra violet
– UV – light) and one would therefore burn and damage more easily.
What causes photoxcity?
The main culprits causing phototoxicity are
the oils from the citrus family, when they are extracted by direct
expression and without distillation. There are however some oils, like
lemon, which still remains phototoxic even after
distillation.
Oils like bergamot, lime and bitter orange
are severely phototoxic when used undiluted, but should they be used in
very low dilutions the sun sensitizing effect is negated to a large
degree.
Hi I truly enjoy your honest reviews and tutorials. I advidly kept up with the battle of cc and bb creams. However I was very concerned that it cosmetics cc cream was vilified for lack of better words from paulas choice reviews – given a poor rating due to “phototoxic oils and eucalyptus oil.” Your review didn’t mention concern with these oils so I am inclined to believe it is not a cause for concern. Could you please address this and shes light on your thoughts if these oils and possible damage they could cause our skin if using it CC cream? Thank you!
Paula’s Choice is hardly impartial considering they are a competitor of IT Cosmetics. I use this site to check out ingredients for safety (here is the info on the YSBB CC cream):
http://cosdna.com/eng/cosmetic_096f121360.html
There is another site called Skin Deep that provides info on safety: http://www.ewg.org/skindeep
This is awesome. This product is indeed interesting to use. I’m impressed with the review and this seems to be perfect as protection from the ultraviolet rays of the sun. This facial cream works in mysterious ways. Thanks for posting!

Bhawna Rajput, if you visit my blog post it has all the details in the review, including the price and ingredients. Thanks!
I honestly LOVE IT Cosmetics and couldn’t live without their Bye Bye Under Eyes and their Bye Bye Pores. Looks like I need to add this to my collection, it looks phenomenal!

i’ve not been disappointed by any IT Cosmetics products i’ve tried and am currently loving the Brow Power pencil. i also use the tightline and Hello Lashes mascara on a regular basis. the CC cream is currently on my wish list. is it exclusive to QVC?
I’m surprised at how full coverage this is. I guess I was expecting more of the typical BB cream sheerness. I thought my shade match would be Fair, but maybe Light is a better bet for me
I love this and have been using it all summer!
I just told my blog partner today that I’m going to end up using up my It Cosmetics CC Cream. I will absolutely replace it when it’s empty.
I really enjoyed this review and video. I used to use a product by Clinique that was similar it covered up my freckles really good. Thank you very much, Shared it, Jerri Davis
That’s the most coverage I’ve seen in a BB or CC cream yet! It Cosmetics seems to have really nice quality products that last. I love their Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer and Vitality Lip Blush. I will look into this CC cream, for sure!
kitschvixen their under eye concealer is amazing.
