Fyrinnae 1960s Retro Collection Review and Swatches

Fyrinnae 1960s Retro Collection Review and Swatches

Fyrinnae just released a new collection called the 1960s Retro Collection. It’s made up of light, bright colors including Space Age, Pop Art Mini Skirt, Polyester Witch, Bollywood Babe, London Mod, Gender Bent, Oh, My Stars!, Equal Rights Shine, Pleasant Valley Sundae and It’s a Mod World. Each shade has a sister shade that’s the opposite of it, so the teal with orange sparkles is paired with an orange with teal sparkles.

This is not a Limited Edition collection. Fyrinnae doesn’t do Limited Edition collections. They do, from time to time, discontinue colors that don’t sell well. So don’t panic, and always take your towel with you.

Fyrinnae products are only sold on their website.

I really adore this new collection from Fyrinnae. There isn’t a single color that I don’t like. I can think of ways to wear all of these shades. My favorites are so hard to choose! I think Gender Bent, Oh, My Stars! and Equal Rights Shine might be my favorites. But I also love Space Age, Polyester Witch and Bollywood Babe. I’ve been kicking around some ideas with Pop Art Mini Skirt and London Mod. I also think the Lip Lustres will be fun to layer on top of other shades. Pleasant Valley Sundae will look great over a black or dark shade.

I also created a video for you, which shows off some of the sparkles in the different shades.

The new Fyrinnae 1960s Retro Collection is definitely more my style than the 1950s Retro Collection, which was for the neutral lovers out there. This one is for the bright lovers!

Which shades are your must-haves?

  1. I really like London Mod and Gender Bent! Even though they have shimmer the fact that they have a matte base makes it more flattering for my wrinkly lids.

  2. Wow, wow, wow. That’s all I can muster up right now seeing the swatches.

  3. The 2 lip lustres look really great – I ordered sample sizes of them plus Polyester Witch and Bollywood Babe.  Can’t wait to get them!!

  4. I’ve seen so many raves about Fryinnae from cruelty-free bloggers, I can’t believe I haven’t tried anything from them yet. The 1960s are one of my most favorite eras, so this whole collection is just really cool to me 🙂

    1. bcrueltyfree And if you need neutrals, they recently released a neutral friendly collection that was 1950s retro! Glad you like this one, definitely check them out 🙂
