Finger Paints Kaleidoscope Collection Review
Not too long ago I purchased several colors from the Finger Paints Kaleidoscope collection. I’d been trying to find a blue-violet flakie when I saw this in Sally’s and grabbed a few shades (and 2 bottles of the blue-violet!). I snagged Abstract Attraction, Colorful Dream and Vivid Reflection. I may go back for Symmetrical Symphony, but I don’t have that one or Psychedelic Hue.
Finger Paints Kaleidoscope Collection Review
Price
$4.50 each (but look for BOGO at Sally’s)
Shades Available
Abstract Attraction – violet and blue flakies
Colorful Dream – multi-colored flakies
Vivid Reflection – purple and orange flakes
Psychedelic Hue – green and teal flakies
Symmetrical Symphony – violet blue and orange flakies
My Thoughts
These flakies have a sort of dusty, dreamlike quality to them. I swatched them on top of Cult Nails Nevermore and on their own. They’re very subtle, but I find them to be very pretty. They’re pretty packed and I found them easy to apply. I think they look fantastic over black or other colors. I especially love Abstract Attraction and Vivid Reflection. Colorful Dream reminds me of stained glass.
I’m glad I purchased these and I recommend them if you’re a flakie fan!
Pros
- Budget friendly
- Nice variety of colors
- Good formula
Cons
- These are not vivid, so if you are expecting vivid flakies you won’t like them.
How many coats did you use on the swatches? I used Colorful Dream a while back and two coats didn’t have as many flakies are there are in your swatch.
I believe I used 2 coats on the nail wheel. I only used 1 for my nail art (except the ring finger which was 2)
