Phyrra Fall Lipstick

My Fall Lipstick of choice, of course, is Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Strumpet Lip Tar (vegan and cruelty free) – seedless grape red / burgundy / wine

I love Strumpet so much I made it into a Lip Tar Pencil (See my DIY Lip Tar Pencil Guide).

I like to layer a gold or nude gold gloss on top of Strumpet like

  • NARS Albatross gloss (discontinued, but there’s a few left in stock at Amazon)
  • Bite Beauty Honey Lush Fruit Lip Gloss
  • NARS Spring Break Larger Than Life Lip Gloss
  • Urban Decay Midnight Cowboy Lip Junkie Lipgloss
  • bareMinerals Trailblazer Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss
  • Illamasqua Stranger Intense Lipgloss

You can deepen the color by using a darker lip pencil as a base, such as

  • Urban Decay Venom 24/7 Lip Pencil
  • Nyx Black Berry Slim Lip Pencil.

You can also deepen the color by using a darker shade on top like

  12. 10amBeauty I love that shade, seriously. I’ve got up close lip swatches and several looks with it, too. I think it’s a very wearable shade, but if you’re worried you could mix it with a beige or peach color to tone it down.

  16. I’m so bummed I didn’t get Strumpet at The Makeup Show! I was immediately drawn to it but the swatch on my arm was far more fuchsia than I was hoping for. It looks lovely on you though.
