My Thoughts
The makeup bag is super cute and has the most adorable teddy bear bear lining. This bag is thin enough to fit in most purses and hold your daily makeup essentials. It can easily hold the makeup brushes plus makeup.

This set breaks down to $13 per brush, not counting the cost of the makeup case. The all over shadow brush is slightly larger than I like for a lid brush but it has the perfect amount of flex to it, making it ideal for using with loose or pressed shades. The pointed liner brush is nice and unique in my collection. You can use it with pressed or loose eyeshadows to line the eyes. The blender brush isn’t tapered, which I typically prefer but the shape is workable. The contour brush is a doe foot shape and it does a surprisingly nice job of blending out color. The powder brush works better for foundation than for blush or contouring the face.

Overall I think this is another great brush set from Too Faced. You can see my previous Too Faced Brush Set Review here. I also own the Essentials Eyebrush set, which is great, too. If you’re looking for new vegan brushes you won’t be disappointed with Too Faced.

  • High Quality brushes

  • The all over powder brush may not be ideal for contouring or blush.

What do you think of the new Too Faced Pro-Essential Teddy Bear Hair Brush Set?

Tags from the story

  • My sister reported that she didn’t get as good results from the Teddy Bear Hair brushes as some other brands. I haven’t tried this set but I thought it was an interesting comparison. How do you think they compare to other brands?

  • If I had money I would definitely consider investing in this set. This is about the equivalent of the few brushes I use in all my makeup looks anyway, haha. Thanks for the review!

  • How cute! The set is a little more expensive than I’d like, but I guess it isn’t too bad when you compare it to many other brands’ brush prices

  • These sound lovely, and look so cute. I’d be interested to try them; I only use synthetic brushes and I don’t know of any other brands that have made the soft-as-animal-hair claim.
