Pearl Dust is a lovely, ethereal cool pink highlighter. I think it looks amazing on my skintone. It also works well as an eyeshadow for an inner corner or under the brows highlight. You can always use it on the lid to help brighten and open up the eyes too. I don’t feel that it emphasizes pores, unless you pile it on. As you can see in the pictures above, it really does give a gorgeous glow.

As far as highlighters in my collection go, it’s kind of in the middle price wise. It’s $28 for .28 oz, while my favorite Too Faced Candlelight Glow Duo is $30 for .35 oz, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Glow is $45 for .35 oz and Notoriously Morbid Osteomancy is $8.50 for roughly .14 oz.

I really love baked marbled powders, be they foundations, blushes or highlighters. This highlighter is no exception. If you love ethereal light pinks, this highlighter is made for you. You can apply it very subtly or over the top, the way I like it.

What do you think of baked marbled powders? Do you like Pearl Dust?

  1. How does this compare to UD’s Aura highlighter? I really love that color on me and I’m trying to decide if I need both.

  2. Oh that looks amazing on you! I’ve tried their lipsticks and love them, so I guess this is next

  3. This definitely looks fabulous on your skintone. I haven’t tried anything from Dose of Colors yet, but have been eyeing many things.

  4. This is seriously pretty on you. I expected the price to be less but it’s pretty much in line with other companies.

  5. I think this really suits you – your eye looks are amazing and your skin looks glowing. Fabulous product.

    1. Thank you! I love this highlighter. I sort of want to go and buy the other one they have that’s like a peach shade because this one worked out so well.

    1. Thank you! That’s from using my new ring like. It has a stand in the middle of the ring for my camera, so I feel like it lets the camera lens get perfect light since the distance from the camera / ring is about 12-18 inches from me.

    1. Thank you! I have been wearing it almost non-stop since I bought it because I put it on and went oooh and then got flooded with compliments about my glow 🙂

    1. You should definitely consider it! I think it’s beautiful. Their regular lipsticks and glosses are nice too. Very pigmented.
