Darling Ghoul Halloween! Swatches

My Darling Ghoul Halloween order arrived! I’ve got all the lovely colors swatched for you 🙂 This collection is so pretty! You all know I love duochromes, so that’s partially why I am so excited! If you’re a taupe lover, you need Witch & Famous! Aqua lovers need Pretty Plasma, as it’s unique in my vast collection.

I purchased several of the petit size eye shadows and glosses. I received several samples, too.

The glosses look SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO amazing!

Bats in the Belfry – Deep murkey brown with a kind of olive green undertone and sprinkles of multi colored green glitter. Fairly low sheen and on the metallic side.
Crypt Keeper – blackened antique gold
Ghost Light – Sheer teal with a touch of green iridescence and a golden shift.
Will-O Wisp – Sheer peachy pink with a silvery blue shift and blue reflect.
Pretty Plasma – Gorgeous aqua blue pearl with contrasting black glitter.
Bewitched – a bright magenta with gorgeous blue flake.
Poison Orchid – a gorgeous sheer raspberry leaning a little on the purple side with loads of color shifting holo-shimmer.
Angel (GWP) – white with iridescent pink-violet
Buddy Blue – white with iridescent turquoise-blue
Witch & Famous – a gorgeous plummy taupe with gold reflect.
Chimera – In the jar and applied over a white base it looks like a gorgeous pale peach with some gold shimmer but applied over a regular primer it’s a pale silvery lavender with gold shimmer.
Corpse Candle – A sheer light grey with violet sheen and purple iridescence.
Dream Scream – the most awesome white pearl with loads of red glitter!
Thriller – Earthy burgundy pearl with golden bronze reflect.
Apparition – A ghostly metallic silver with a slight color shift from golden pink to a green and loads of pumpkin orange glitter.
Pumpkin Eater – Pumpkin orange with loads green iridescence.
Scream Queen – Shimmering red pearl with loads of Silver and Holographic glitters.
Jack’s Lantern – Jacks Lantern is my take on the orange glow emanating from all the Jack O’ Lantern’s guarding the porches on all Hallows Eve. It’s a deep black base with a fiery red/orange shift. The combination looks like a blackened purple especially when foiled.

Perhaps because I LOVE Halloween and the month of Gothtober (courtesy of the lovely Grey), this is my favorite collection so far from Darling Girl Cosmetics.

Pretty Plasma is awesome. Black glitter + aqua is soo pretty! All of the spectral shades are great. The glosses are really nice, too. This is such a fun collection! Buddy Blue is very similar to MAC Vellum, only with an extra kick, so that makes it something I adore 🙂

  3. I have been on a no buy,but seeing these swatches makes me want to break it! Will-OWisp is so gorgeous,heck they are all gorgeous…must…stay…away! Aw heck,I’m definitely going to place an order when her shop reopens,I’ve ordered a necklace from her before and she was SO sweet and generous plus I just took a look at her blog and saw she is making a shade for breast camcer awareness month and donating part of the proceeds to the Susan G. Komen for the cure foundation and as a woman with breast cancer how could I not support that?!

    Does anyone know of any other Indie companies who are making special shades and donating for breast cancer awareness month?

  14. I placed my order the other day – at the last minute I took Will-O-Wisp out of my cart and now I am kicking myself for it! It looks gorgeous!

    Also regretting not getting Dream Scream and Scream Queen.
