Cruelty Free Beauty Gifts Under $30

Morgana Cryptoria Don’t Blink Eyeshadows – $7
The semi-loose Dr. Who inspired Don’t Blink collection is the best to date from Morgana Cryptoria. Normally I’m raving about her lipsticks. This time I’m raving about her eyeshadows. Creeping Angels (sparkling grey), Freaking Angels (purple duochrome), Peeping Angels (deep wine duochrome), Weeping Angels (blue duochrome), Sneaking Angels (green duochrome) and Shrieking Angels (vivid red). I’ve purchased all of the colors except Shrieking Angels. I’m a sucker for duochromes! (Vegan)

Sugarpill Reckless Trio – $30 ($36 value)
Sugarpill’s eyeshadows are beautiful and these are three of my favorite colors – Absinthe (vivid green with golden tones), Starling (metallic turquoise) and Stella (blackest black with multi-color sparkle). There are several other trios available, too. (Vegan)

Fyrinnae Winter 2013 Eyeshadows – $6.25
Fyrinnae eyeshadows are always stunning and the winter release has 3 colors in particular that I’m loving – Sled Puppies, Snowboarding and Because Cats. They also have many unique and complex colors that people will love. (Vegan)

pur Minerals Untamed Glamour 3 Piece Collection – $26 ($58 value)
This cool kit is made up of a liquid eyeliner, mascara and mineral glow to add warmth to the complexion. Not only is it a great gift, you’re giving two gifts in one since a portion of the proceeds goes to National Geographic’s Big Cats Initiative.

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette – $27 ($108 value)
I tell everyone that they need this palette! It’s 5 full size shadows in matte and 1 demi-matte formula. I love mixing textures with my eyeshadow looks, as it’s fun to have something sparkly on the lid and a matte in the crease. It’s an awesome palette. See my review. You can see a tutorial here.

Urban Decay Nail Color – $15
I love UD’s new nail polish line, especially Zodiac and Vice. Those are my two must have shades and they’d make perfect gifts.

Urban Decay Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Primer – $24
Everyone needs eyeshadow primer, and if it has anti-aging benefits, even better! You can see my review here.

KBShimmer Nail Polish – $8.75
KBShimmer makes awesome glitter polishes. Their top coat is my favorite. They also make wonderful scrubs, body lotion and cuticle oil pens. You could put together a fun gift set with their products.

Literary Lacquers Nail Lacquer – $10
I love this line of polish! It’s inspired by fabulous books and comes in all kinds of finishes, but the holographic ones are especially great. They’re very unique.

This is my all time favorite highlighter and it lasts and lasts. It’s my go-to and I’ve barely made a dent in it. You get a lot of product for the price. It gives a gorgeous glow to the skin. You can see my review here.

Too Faced Beauty Blogger Darlings – $20 ($42 value)
This is a cute little gift set made up of Better Than Sex Mascara, Shadow Insurance, Primed & Poreless Face Primer, and Chocolate Soliel Bronzer (smells like chocolate!).

bareMinerals Enchanting Eyes Duo – $10 ($31 value)
This is a steal for $10! It’s limited edition so I don’t know how long it will be around but I picked it up for myself. The colors are Déjá Vû (silver gleam) and Amnesia (charcoal smoke), both of which are perfectly flattering on my blue-green eyes. It also comes with a mini-primer.

bareMinerals Smoky & Sultry Kit – $20 ($80 value)
This kit should be available in early December! It’s a really cute kit that’s packed with value. It comes with Sultry (nude champagne) eyeshadow, Cherry Coco Truffle (dark cherry chocolate with copper sparks) eyeshadow, Temptress lipgloss (rose with pink and gold shimmer), a crease brush and mascara. See my review.

These are my picks for the best cruelty free beauty gifts under $30. What would you add to the list?

  1. Hi. Urban decay and bare minerals are cruelty free, but their parent companies are not, which means if you still buy urban decay and bare minerals your still giving the parent companies money to keep testing on animals. Sorry if you already knew 🙁

    1. If you read the ‘Cruelty Free Beauty Brand List that is linked at the top of every single page on my site, you’ll see that I choose to support Urban Decay, bareMinerals, NARS, the Body Shop, etc. I support companies who are cruelty free even if their parent company is not.

Like I mention in several posts, I would not want to be blamed for the actions of my parents. It’s like saying you can’t be vegan if your parents still eat meat.

  2. I bought the OCC mini set on a whim for my sister. I hadn’t realized the Sephora I go to had started carrying it in stores, and it’s a stupid good deal. I should have bought one for myself, but I had just ordered some from OCC themselves :P.
ANYHOO this next thing isn’t related, but I was wondering if you could tell me anything about Sweetpea and Fay? I saw your post on them from last year, have you had any more experience with them? I thought I read someone mention customer service/shipping related issues with them, and I thought it was on this blog, but I’ve learned I have a problem mixing up my sources!

  3. Your list is so great. I was excited to see it come through on my Bellashoot email today too. I’m dying for the UD polishes that are just on their site. I put it on a Secret Santa wishlist so I can’t buy them until I get that gift. I’m betting the person won’t go there and it’s killing me to wait. LOL.

  4. Although this is a gift guide I want most of the stuff on here ! I love how everything is so afforable

      1. UD Naked, tarte everything and Cult Nails polishes are my staples. And I’ve been eyeing those OCC lip tars forever, you’d think I would have bought them by now 🙂

  5. Yes to the Urban Decay Naked Basics and liptar set! Those are my faves and work so well together.
