Colour Pop Going Coconuts and Blowin’ Smoke Palettes Swatches

I wanted to share my Colour Pop Going Coconuts and Blowin’ Smoke Palettes Swatches with you. Going Coconuts is a ‘toasted neutrals’ palette. I thought Going Coconuts was going to be a cool toned palette as it looks cool toned in the promo shots. It definitely pulls more neutral to warm on my neutral to cool yellow skintone. Blowin’ Smoke (formerly known as Smoke Show) is a gorgeous glam grayscale palette.

As you may or may not know, my skintone is a very fair neutral to cool yellow (with maybe a touch of olive). A lot of browns seem to become warmer / oranger with my skintone. I definitely feel like Going Coconuts pulls warmer on me than expected. Blowin’ Smoke, on the other hand, is such a gorgeous, cool toned eyeshadow lover’s dream. It looks exactly the way I want it to with my skintone.

The Colour Pop Blowin’ Smoke and Going Coconuts eyeshadow palettes are great for rounding out your neutrals collection.

If you don’t own a lot of eyeshadow and you’re looking to add neutrals to your collection, you will love one or both of these palettes. If you already have a ton of neutral palettes, you definitely don’t need Going Coconuts. If you don’t have a lot of greys, I would recommend Blowin’ Smoke.

What do you think of these palettes?

One Comment

  1. These are both great palettes. Going Coconuts is warmer than I thought, too, but that’s less of an issue for my coloring. Blowin’ Smoke works for me thanks to the shimmers and silvers, so I love that. All matte grays and blacks are not a good look on me.
