Best Berry and Plum Makeup
Happy Top Ten Tuesday! Today I’m bringing you my picks for the best berry and plum makeup. I actually have a lot of products that fall into this category. To me, berries and plums are the perfect mix of dramatic and romantic makeup colors. I really love these shades for blushes.
Best Berry and Plum Makeup
All products are, of course, cruelty free. Some are vegan. This post contains a mix of press samples and products purchased by me.
1. Darling Girl Duochrome Eyeshadow in Mistress
This is an eyeshadow (it was limited edition, but Darling Girl brought it back briefly for Pink Friday). It’s a blackberry / plum type shade with green shift. I swatched it on bare skin with a damp brush using e.l.f. studio makeup mist & set. (Nightwatch is a similar shade, not limited edition). You can check out my tutorial featuring this color. During Darling Girl’s Pink Friday sale I picked up a few jars of this shade.
2. Darling Girl Baby Blush in Bubble Tea
This is such a pretty berry! It’s a pinky purple shade without shimmer that melts onto the cheeks or lips. It’s infused with argan oil and orange peel butter. It’s a very natural looking shade.
3. Darling Girl Sparkle-matte-ic Lipstick in Berried Treasure
This is a berry pink with blue and violet holo sparkle matte lipstick that dries down. It’s not smudge proof or kiss proof, but it is smudge and transfer resistant.
4. Darling Girl Sparkle-matte-ic Lipstick in Galactic Love Story
This is a grapey purple with aqua and blue holo sparkle. (This may have been discontinued, I’m not sure)
5. Urban Decay Afterglow Blush in Bittersweet
This is a beautiful purple blush that has a pink tone to it when it’s blended out. See me wearing Bittersweet. See my review.
6. Femme Fatale Blush in Creeping Coffin
This is a lovely soft purple blush with a golden sheen. See more Femme Fatale. (v)
7. Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Your Love is King
I love this soft plum rose blush.
8. NARS Blush in Sin
This is a stunning berry with gold shimmer.
9. Urban Decay Afterglow Blush in Rapture
This is a mauve / berry type shade with shimmer. When I swatched Sin and Rapture side by side I noticed that they appear pretty similar on my skintone.
10. Sugarpill Chromalust Loose Eyeshadow in Magentric
This is a deep magenta berry with turquoise blue sparkle. I swatched it on bare skin with a damp brush using e.l.f. studio makeup mist & set. (v)
Catching up on some of you posts I missed, I love these picks! Of course I’m a NARS blush lover, that skin shade I don’t have-love it. The UD in Afterglow is now def on my wishlist, and I’m loving those Sugarpill Chromalusts, by the way, this is one of my fave eye looks on you ever-the combo is stunning! XO
Love love love sin!
Beautiful shades!
These are my fave colors to wear. Sin is gorgeous. I need it!
my FAVE fall shade! Mistress is exceptionally beautiful!
Absolutely gorgeous shades for this time of year… I think purple hues and plums are so pretty.
These are all such gorgeous shades, especially for this time of year.
The Darling Girl shades are stunning!!
What lovely choices! I’ve been leaning a lot lately toward berry shades.
Those are some lovely plums! These colors look so great with my brown eyes 🙂
I want to get that TooFaced blush. It’s on my list. Your Nars blush palette looks to die for!!
I love that Too Faced blush–all these shades are pretty!
I love the Too Faced blushes. Mine is quite pink but I’d like a more berry one too.
These colors are gorgeous!! Very warm and sultry.
Although I don’t wear berry or plum coloured eye shadows, I love this colour as a lipstick. NYX Snow White is fabulous. These berry eye shadows would look great on you Phyrra – just your sort of colours.
So many beauties. I think I have Your Love Is King. I need to wear it more!
I have to go swatch UD Rapture and Nars Sin! Both look so, so good!
I love plums and berries for fall and winter!
These are all so beautiful. Creeping Coffin is really unique — love it!
I’m going to need somebody to get on making Sin in a lipstick form. I’m sure I could probably find one in my collection if I looked hard enough. But it would be so much easier if NARS would just do it.
