BareMinerals Gen Nude Floral Utopia Palette
BareMinerals Gen Nude Floral Utopia Palette
I just wanted to share my BareMinerals Gen Nude Floral Utopia Palette swatches and thoughts with you. Just so you know, I swatched this palette at the same time that I swatched the PUR Trolls World Tour Techno Palette. BareMinerals is a cruelty-free beauty brand that’s probably best known for their mineral makeup. However, I’m a huge fan of their Gen Nude line in general.

The BareMinerals Gen Nude Floral Utopia collection launched in 2019, if I remember correctly. I stumbled upon it this year when I bought both of the Gen Nude Floral Utopia Highlighter Sticks in Indigo Girl (pale iridescent pink) and Orange Blossom (coral peach). You know I’m obsessed with stick makeup. I love to use these as highlighters and blush toppers. You can currently pick these up in a highlighter set for $20. I also bought the Gen Nude Floral Utopia I’m Freesia blush, a beautiful cool pink shade. The Gen Nude blush formula is wonderful. It applies smoothly and lasts all day.

I took these swatches outdoors in direct sunlight.
Swatches from top to bottom:
- daisy & confused – a golden peach matte
- sweet cherry blossom – a golden pink shimmer
- stay golden poppy – a warm pink shimmer
- red red roses – a cool muted red matte
- dusty violet – a metallic smoky purple taupe
- dark dahlia – a deep plum brown matte
I adore the color story of the BareMinerals Gen Nude Floral Utopia Palette. It’s a beautiful set of shades that are easy to wear together. You can create a quick halo eye with Dusty Violet layered on top of Dark Dahlia. Sweet Cherry Blossom looks amazing on the lid with Red Red Roses in the crease. Daisy & Confused is nice as a transition or for blending out other shades. Stay Golden Poppy is pretty in the middle of the lid with Daisy & Confused at the inner lid and Red Red Roses at the outer lid.
I do wish the eyeshadow formula had a bit more pigment, though it is quite buildable. The only shade I’m really not into is Dark Dahlia. I think these colors compliment my skin tone and eye color nicely.
If you’re looking to add these sorts of hues to your collection, it looks like most, if not all of BareMinerals Gen Nude Floral Utopia is on sale.
I haven’t tried the Gen Nude palettes yet. These shades will be really pretty on you. If that darkest shade were a more purple, it would go better with the rest of the palette.
