Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette Look

Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette Look

Today I’m sharing my Anastasia Modern Renaissance Palette look with you. I also used the Urban Decay Moondust palette in this look, both on the eyes and lips. It’s a red themed look. It’s what you see me wearing in my Anti-Haul #2 video.

One wing always turns out better than the other. I’ve been practicing the technique for liner with eyeshadow for hooded eyes and my right eye turned out great, while  my left was a little wonky. I do think the colors I used on the eyes go together beautifully. The lips turned out really cool, too. They were surprisingly comfortable to wear.

The Urban Decay Moondust Palette is turning out to be surprisingly versatile for me with layering. I knew I’d use it on the eyes, and I’ve done that the past two days. It didn’t originally occur to me to use it on the lips until I was searching my stash for a good red and thought, why not layer Element and Specter on top of a UD red? So I did! I love the results.

How do you feel about red makeup?

  1. Love it! I need to try to make the eyeliner like yours (I have hooded eyes too). And the other hand, I’m surprised to see you using an ABH palette, I think it’s the first time I see something from her here 🙂 The palette is on my wish list, thank goodness is permanent.
