My skin tone is very fair neutral to cool yellow undertone. I find my best foundation matches are neutrals or cool yellows. Currently my best matches are Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation in .1, Milk Makeup Flex Stick Foundation in Porcelain, Nyx Born to Glow Radiant Foundation in Pale, and Juvia’s Place Shade Stick in Tokyo.

Always On Cream Shadow Comparisons
I swatched four shades that can be used as an eye shadow primer base. From top to bottom we have Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden, Smashbox Vanilla, CoverGirl Nude Awakening, and Smashbox Rose. I prefer to use Urban Decay Eden because it works well with my very fair neutral to cool yellow undertone and it’s the lightest of these four shades.
The top swatch is Smashbox Greige and the bottom is CoverGirl Cocoa-Nuts. These are two shades that I like to use as neutrals to contour the eyes.
Here we have Smashbox Violet on top and CoverGirl Stargazer in the middle. The bottom swatch is Smashbox Violet with CoverGirl Stargazer layered on top.
I swatched Smashbox Cerulean on top, followed by Smashbox Ultramarine in the middle, and CoverGirl Night Night at the bottom.

Rose is a warm-toned mauve on my skin tone. It pulls peachy to my eyes.
Smashbox Always On Cream Shadows Review
Please watch my video for my full review. These are the best cream eyeshadows that I’ve tried in over a decade. They’re perfect hooded eyes makeup as they don’t budge at all. Below are some highlights.
The Smashbox Always On Cream Shadows are 100% vegan, which is awesome. In addition to Smashbox’s cruelty-free status, I was thrilled to learn that Smashbox is a part of the Responsible Mica Initiative, which means that they are also human cruelty-free in addition to animal cruelty-free.
I’m impressed with the formula of the Smashbox Always On Cream Shadows. I’ve done wear tests with and without eyeshadow primer. As you know, I have oily, hooded eyes and have to use an eyeshadow primer. This eyeshadow formula lasts on me with or without primer. If I skip primer and only use the cream shadow for my look, there is visible fading by the end of the day. It’s not a ton, but it is noticeable when tested next to primer. There is no creasing. If I put powder eyeshadow on top it lasts like a primer.
I love that the Smashbox Always On Cream Shadows are similar to playing with paints from art class. I do wish that Smashbox had included a primary red and a white in this collection. White can be used to pastelize shades. If you combine a primary red with the yellow and deep teal blue, you can create just about any color you want using color theory. I hope that Smashbox expands this eyeshadow collection and adds more shades.
What do you think of the Smashbox Always On Cream Shadows? Are you a fan of Smashbox? Have you ever heard of the Responsible Mica Initiative?
Those purples are just so gorgeous! I absolutely love the looks that you created!
This is a great selection! Thanks for the detailed review of the new products. I noticed that now a lot of decorative cosmetics are being produced in the form of creams. Creams are more popular than conventional ones. Perhaps because they are more convenient? I like regular powder better. Although my choice always depends on the situation. Creamy eyeshadows look bright and last longer on the skin. I love your look. You have perfectly shown how everything will look in the finished form! Thanks for your video. I also loved your past reviews on lipsticks and lip glosses. I love lip glosses. Looking forward to a new review!
Best regards: Sophie!
These look fantastic! I can’t believe you were able to use that many cream shadows in a look and it looks like that! Sometimes creams don’t play well together. I think I really want to pick up Rose–it would be a nice workhorse shade.
