Row 2 = Tribeca – sunnyville – grand central – electric – fleet week – Astoria

Ozone
a sheer shimmery silvery tone that makes a great highlight color.  It’s fantastic for brightening your lid, and nearly essential for days when you haven’t had quite enough beauty sleep.  It’s made to compliment Soho, and Gotham- but fun as a wash with just a little black liner.
My Take
sheer silver shimmer

Brighton
a light teal- almost robin’s egg blue with a lustrous pearl finish.  It’s a super fun retro look paired with black liner
My Take
light sky blue

Roxbury
fun teal shimmer
My Take
pretty, green-based teal

Midtown
a light yellowish Spring green with a golden pearl finish.
My Take
Pretty, yellow-based light spring green

Highrise
a deeper green that dries down with a dazzling golden overlay.
My Take
Green with a golden sheen

Pashmina
a somewhat sheer ballerina pink with a hint of lavender interference.
My Take
lovely baby pink with blue-violet twinkles

Tribeca
a very pale gold with golden interference and a pearl finish.  It’s sheer, brightening and makes a gorgeous highlight.
My Take
Pale buttery gold

Sunnyville
a medium peach with a luminous pearl finish.  It’s lovely as a one-color wash, and goes great with Tribeca.
My Take
Pastel peach pearl

Grand Central
an opulent gold.  Wonderful as a liner, fun as a lid color, and perfect for adding a touch of flamboyance.
My Take
Perfect, gorgeous, rich yellow gold.

Electric
an incredible vibrant blue color with an almost metallic finish.  If you’re a fan of our Paranormal eye color- this is the cream version.
My Take
Rich, vibrant royal blue

Fleet Week
a dark navy with a slightly shimmery finish.
My Take
Dark navy blue

Astoria
a very light lilac color with a luminous pearl finish.  Apply lightly for a brightening effect, or layer for more intense color.
My Take
Light lilac

Silk Naturals, Metro, Soho, gotham, blackout, Penthouse, Gramercy, Brownstone, swatches, reviewRow 1 = Metro – Soho – gotham – blackout
Row 2 = Penthouse – Gramercy – Brownstone

Metro
a brushed shimmery silver tone with a somewhat sheer luminous shimmer finish.
My Take
Gorgeous midtone silver

Soho
a medium taupe shade with very slight glints of gold.  It has a full coverage luminous creamy- almost powdery finish that’s perfect for daytime office looks.  It’s great by itself, and made to match with Gotham.
My Take
A midtone taupe with hints of coppery-brown

Gotham
a deep, dirty grey with a hint of brown shade with a shimmery finish.  It blends beautifully as a crease color, is a fun liner- and just a gorgeous complex color.
My Take
Deeper than midtone warm grey  with brown around the edges

Blackout
a jet black Chromatic Cream Shadow that dries to a matte almost powdery charcoal color.  It’s fantastic as a liner- just use a brush to grab some off the wand, and apply.
My Take
Deep black matte

Penthouse
a nude tan “your lids but better” shade with a lustrous pearl finish.  It’s just ever so slightly warm, and a great “staple” color.
My Take
Warm tan pearl

Gramercy
a neutral tan punctuated with a hint of interference copper.  It’s a neutral with a hint of excitement.  Perfect for the office, but dressy enough for a night on the town.
My Take
pale copper

Silk Naturals, Metro, Soho, gotham, blackout, Penthouse, Gramercy, Brownstone, swatches, review

Brownstone
a dark coppery golden brown with a shimmery finish- great as a crease or liner color.  It’s similar to Vogue or Chocolate Twinkle
My Take
Deep copper with brown undertones

Wearing several of the shades here. See the tutorial.

My thoughts
I think if you like cream shadows you will love these for summer. It’s easy to build the color up. It’s a bit tricky to blend the shades together and you have to work quickly to do so. I got 8 to 9 hours of wear with primer. I think if you do not have oily lids you could probably wear these for much longer. If you have very, very oily lids, you may see slight creasing.

You can easily use any of the shades as a liner if you use an angled eyeliner brush to apply the color. I used Blackout like that. I think Gotham will be a nearly universally flattering shade, but I love it especially with my blue-green eyes. I think Electric will look great with brown eyes. Brownstone will look good with green eyes.

The colors are easy to apply and then sheer out with your finger tip or a brush. You can also easily build up color. And of course, you can use these as a base to really make powder eyeshadows pop!

My favorite shades ended up being Gotham, Soho, Metro, Ozone, Grand Central, Tribeca, Electric and Sunnyvale. I really think Ozone and Tribeca are colors that you would use an entire tube up within the 6 month shelf life because they’re easy highlight colors to use every day! They’re great.

I really like the new Chromatics Cream Eye Colors! Have you had a chance to try them?

  2. I so love the electric blue color I never heard of this product but I will look into this. It looks & sounds like something I would love to use

  3. I couldn’t resist and bought Gotham, Gramercy, Brownstone, and Blackout last week. Really impressed with how well they last, yet super easy to wash off. I do find it hard to get an even layer with fingers, I’ve been using a concealer type brush. Looks like I need to put Sunnyville and Soho on my wishlist!

  4. Violet Oblivia oh lol! I should have realized that! I was thinking ‘makeup artist?’ Thank you for clarifying.

  5. Michelle Vogel, it dries down, it does not flake off. Check out my review for all the juicy details and a few looks 🙂

  6. I haven’t tried this brand nor these products yet, can you use this as an eyeshadow base? Is it easy to apply?

    1. charismafulltv Hi! Yes. If you do not have oily lids, you can use these as an eyeshadow base. If you have oily lids, use a primer first then use these as an eyeshadow base. They’re VERY easy to apply 🙂

  7. I’ve been waiting for your swatches.  I definitely want the neutral ones and Electric.

  8. I love a good cream shadow and the price of these is very impressive! I like the last swatches in particular, Brownstone and Gramercy especially

  9. Right on my list for things to do after work! Saw swatches on MUA and am eager to know more
