I’m very excited to see my dream become a reality! This is my cruelty free, paraben free, vegan hair masque, Pretty Little Elixir. I teamed up with Nicki at FutureDerm to create the perfect hair masque for people who dye their hair often (like I do) or heat style.
Pretty Little Elixir Hair Masque
How I currently treat my hair
I wash every 5 to 7 days with Cocoa Pink Princess Poo. I use either Cocoa Pink Argan Therapy Creme conditioner or I use Pretty Little Elixir.
In between washing, I use Batiste Dry Shampoo, since it helps to add a bit of volume to my roots.
I do blow dry my hair and use DermOrganic Leave in Spray Therapy as a heat protectant.
On rare occasion, I use a flat iron to shape my hair.
I use White Sands Hairspray to hold my style in place.
Occasionally I use DermOrganic Texture Taffy to add piecey-ness to my look.
Pretty Little Elixir Hair Masque Ingredients
Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein PG-Propyl Silanetriol
Since many of you have asked how the hair masque works, Nicki gave me the details on the ingredients. Ingredients are always listed in order of greatest concentration to least. You can read Nicki’s review of Pretty Little Elixir Hair Masque on her waist length, heat styled hair here.
Quaternium-91 to add shine and smoothness to your hair, especially after repeated use. So you can use this daily if you desire, but I would recommend once or twice a week. If you wash your hair every 5 to 7 days like I prefer to do, I would use this every other time you wash, though I’m loving it so much that I do use it twice in a row!
Behentrimonium chloride protects and restores hair after heat or dyeing damage.
Myristyl Myristate (vegetable base) adds in hydration to leave your hair silky smooth.
The fragrance is derived from fruit extract.
