Prestige Flawless & Ready BB Cream SPF 15 Light Review

A while back I had the opportunity to try out the Prestige Flawless & Ready BB Cream SPF 15 in Light. I love BB creams, and it’s really hard to find cruelty-free ones, so I was excited to learn that Prestige had made one. Prestige is often an overlooked brand, but I think they’re great. My Thoughts
If you’ve read my post about bb creams, you’ll know that I feel that bb creams should (in general) act as moisturizer, high SPF, foundation, concealer, anti-aging, brightening, nourishing, and some claim to also prime the skin. My problem with most American bb creams are that they are usually just a tinted moisturizer with SPF, but not high SPF. I’m sometimes ok if a bb cream is not full coverage (meaning it doesn’t act as foundation or concealer) if it blurs imperfections in the skin.

This is more of a tinted moisturizer than a bb cream. That doesn’t make it a bad product, but it is a touch disappointing to me. I always get so excited when I see BB cream, only to later find out ‘nope, not multi-functional like the Korean BB creams.’ Additionally, the color Light is a bit darker / peacher than I like on my skin. It’s also more sheer than I would like. If it had a bit more coverage, blurred imperfections or was lighter I think it would look better on my skin. That said, it feels nice on my skin, probably due to the dimethicone. It doesn’t really cover up my pink overtone from rosacea or blur any imperfections in my skin.

I do think that if you are not a rosacea sufferer (like I am), and you only need light coverage, you will like this product. I think the shade Light is probably very forgiving because it’s so sheer, it’s just a bit too dark and peach for my taste. I think it will work for most people who are on the lighter end of the shade spectrum. I know that this product also comes in a medium shade, too.
