Perfect Travel Makeup
I wish I’d had time to snap more than a single photo of this look that i wore on my flight home to Tampa. I wanted something simple and no fuss.
Eyes
Jesse’s Girl Eyeshadow Primer
Urban Decay Easy Baked – lid
NARS Voyage – crease
Urban Decay Walk of Shame – browbone
Vanity Mark Gingerella brow pencil
Physicians Formula Fake Out Mascara
Anastasia Lash Genius
Face
tarte BB Tinted Treatment 12-Hour Primer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen in Fair
Kat Von D Everlasting Blush in Wish
NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder (I dusted this across my eyelashes and eyeshadow, too)Too Faced Candlelight Duo Highlighter
Lips
Stila After Glow Lip Color in Tangerine Dream
I’ve found that the NARS Loose setting powder, while it doesn’t look best in photos because of the grey tinge it gives my lashes, works well in practice at keeping my mascara from smudging.
With the combination of the tarte tinted primer, because it feels like a primer, not a bb cream to me, and the loose setting powder, I think my skin looks pretty flawless. I love it enough that I bought a full size of the tarte primer.
I’ve been wearing the Kat Von D Wish blush a ton. It’s the perfect sort of nude peach shade on me. It gives me enough color without overwhelming anything else. I like the warmth it brings to my cheeks.
Walk of Shame, Easy Baked and Voyage worked together perfectly for a soft eye with a bit of subtle bronzey gold color. I think all three of these shades count as neutrals and they’re ultra wearable. Love them!
Anyway, this is an easy look for travel and it all fits into my tiny tokidoki makeup bag, which is what I bring in my purse (as I check the rest of my makeup).
