About Melt Cosmetics

Melt Cosmetics is a cruelty-free indie beauty brand. They are Leaping Bunny Certified, the Gold Standard for cruelty-free. I love the creative collections they make! While they originally only sold eyeshadow stacks, which I loved because of their unique shape and stacking ability, they’re now into making beautiful palettes.

You can see my original review of the Melt She’s in Parties Stack.

Speaking of Leaping Bunny, they have a brand new website now! See it at LeapingBunny.org!

She’s in Parties Palette Review

Melt She's in Parties Comparison Swatches

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I love the Melt She’s in Parties Palette. While the stack was fantastic, I feel that the palette itself seems to be more pigmented than the original I own. Last Caress and She’s in Parties swatch and apply identical to my eyes. Skeleton Kiss seems more pigmented than the stack version. Meanstreak is more of an intense wine in the palette, which I adore. Meanstreak is my favorite color in the palette!

Shades like Total Immortal and Last Caress I like to use as base or transition colors, or use them to blend out the edges of deeper hues. I really love to pop Skeleton Kiss onto the lid for a duochrome lid color but you can also apply this shade very lightly for a highlight. Strange Love makes a gorgeous sparkly lid shade as well. Meanstreak is AMAZING and I use that to contour the eyes or smoke them out. Overall, my favorite shades in the palette are Skeleton Kiss, Meanstreak, Strange Love and Total Immortal.

I haven’t used She’s in Parties, Sleep Walk or Lost Control very much. Do you have suggestions on how I can incorporate those three into looks? Let me know here or in the PhyrraNyx Facebook Group. We’d love to have you join us in the makeup group!

What do you think of the Melt She’s in Parties Palette? Is it a must have or miss for you?
