Makeup Geek Power Pigments launch on May 3, 2018 and will be $9 each. The Viseart Editorial Brights Palette is $80 for 12 eyeshadows.

Untouchable – bright red matte
Courageous – pink with purple undertone magenta matte
Invincible – cool purple matte
Indestructible – indigo blue matte
Potential – bright yellow matte
Dynamic – bright orange matte
Unleashed – cool pink matte
Dedicated – warm purple matte (really looks like a burgundy wine to me)
Tenacious – bright teal blue matte

Cool toned red matte
Bright orange matte

Midtone green matte

The above set of swatches looks true to color. The Viseart red appears cooler toned than Makeup Geek Transform. The Viseart bright orange and bright yellow are brighter than Makeup Geek Dynamic and Potential. Makeup Geek Transform is deeper and cooler than the midtone lighter green of Viseart.

Makeup Geek Power Pigments don’t have matches to seafoam, neon green, neon pink, neon purple or white. Makeup Geek Unleashed and Courageous don’t have a match in the Viseart palette. Makeup Geek Dedicated is in the same color family as Viseart 10. Makeup Geek Invincible is in the same color family as Viseart 11.

For some reason my camera is making Tenacious and Viseart 8 look similar in the photo. In reality, Makeup Geek Power Pigment Tenacious is a teal blue, not sky blue. Viseart 8 is sky blue.

Again, only Makeup Geek Power Pigment color not showing up true is Tenacious, which is a teal blue, not sky blue. Are these identical? No. Are they similar? Yes.

Both the Viseart Editorial Brights Palette and Makeup Geek Power Pigments eyeshadows are easy to work with. I typically take the Viseart Editorial Brights Palette with me to conventions like Dragon Con because it has every major color needed for costumes. I usually combine that palette with a custom made palette of singles, mostly filled with Makeup Geek and Sugarpill.
