Packaging
Rejoice! It comes in a bottle with an airless pump so you get every last drop out of the serum. The packaging keeps the anti-aging ingredients stable. I LOVE this type of packaging and I wish more anti-aging skincare products used it. This is PERFECT packaging!
My Thoughts
I love the fact that the serum’s primary ingredient is Aloe, because that’s soothing on my sensitive skin. The serum, while it’s very rich and moisturizing, is not greasy. It dries to a slightly tacky finish, making it work well as a face primer if you choose to use it for that too. You can use it around the eyes or anywhere else on the face and does a good job hydrating the skin. While I know M Steves touts the rosehip seed oil as the miracle ingredient in this, I think it’s the overall formula that really works well on my skin.
It does reduce the appearance of my pores. Nothing can actually shrink them, but if you keep your pores clean, a good primer can help reduce the appearance of them. If you’re going to use it as a primer, I suggest putting on your moisturizer with SPF first and let that sink in for about 5 to 10 minutes. Then apply this serum and let it set for about 2 to 3 minutes. Otherwise, I would use it under you daytime or nighttime moisturizer.
Overall, I really like it (except for the price, ouch!). If you’re looking for a new anti-aging serum that’s vegan and cruelty free, definitely check out M Steves Anti-Aging Serum. While I’m not sure I buy into the rose hip seed oil hype, I do think it’s a very nice and effective serum.
