Lime Crime Venus XL Look

Hello, beautiful creatures, today I’m sharing a Lime Crime Venus XL look with you. I love reds and multichromes so I pulled out this palette to create a fun look.

Lime Crime Fangs Pencil
Melt Velvet Room Liquid Lipstick
Silk Naturals Blue Raspberry – patted on top

I realize that while I love the Melt Velvet Room Liquid Lipstick, I need to find this exact shade in a bullet lipstick formula or in a liquid lipstick formula that wears better for me. However, I couldn’t think of a better lip color for my Lime Crime Venus XL Look, as I’m obsessed with deep vampy lips!

Final Thoughts

I absolutely adore my brow combination today! The Sigma Prime + Control Brow Wax does a great job of keeping my hairs brushed up and in place. I fill in the tail with Noir and the front half of my brow with Granite Gray, which works well with my natural hair color. I love finishing it off with the glitter brow gel!

I’m unsure how to feel about the Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Serum Foundation in Shade 2G. The match looks great but I don’t know if it looks flattering with how it sits on my skin. Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Blurring Balm is fantastic, so I wanted to try a sample of the serum too. Maybe I just need to layer them together. I want a foundation that blurs my imperfections and pores, while giving me a little bit of coverage to minimize redness.

After playing with my Danessa Myricks Lightwork IV Palette, there are only 4 shades in it that I’m not a fan. Angels and Divinity just seem to be very crumbly white and gold shadows. Maybe I’m not using them correctly. I’m also not having fun with Aura and Intuition, the water activated shades. 10 out of the 14 shades have been awesome, but it’s sad that I’m struggling with 4. If you have this palette, how do you use Angels, Divinity, Aura and Intuition?

What’s your current favorite makeup combo?
