Question of the Week: How many skincare products do you use every day?
Answer: Right now while I’m visiting my grandma I’ve got my Mineral Fusion SPF 40 Face Cream, SuperGoop SPF 37 eye cream, Paula’s Choice Optimal Results Cleanser, PC Eye Cream, PC Moisture Boost Cream, Cover FX Custom Infusion Drops in Chamomile, and I think that’s it right now.

  1. On a normal day, I use
AM — Paula’s Choice toner (Skin Recovery line)
    CeraVe Night Cream serum
Elta MD sunscreen (I don’t wash my face in the morning, lol)

    PM:
    Coconut oil to remove makeup
    Paula’s Choice face wash
    PC toner
    Oz Naturals HA serum
    PC 2% BHA
    Finacea
    CeraVe Night Cream serum

However for the past week I’m only using coconut oil b/c my skin FREAKED OUT when I used a sample of Soolantra from my derm. No beuno. My face is a total wreck and I just want it to go back to “normal.”

  2. I generally use 4-5: cleanser, serum and night moisturizer at night and in the morning I use a day time moisturizer that has sunscreen in it. Twice a week I use a gentle exfoliating scrub.
By the way Phyrra – what is the name and brand of that GORGEOUS lipstick you are wearing?

  3. Cleanser, toner, firming cream, day time moisturizer, brightening eye cream, night time moisturizer cream, fine line corrector, oil serum around eyes. So eight, though some days I skip the fine line corrector. I occasionally skip toner and firming cream.

    1. I sometimes use toner, but I didn’t pack it for this trip. I did find that I stuck an eye serum in my lip products back this morning!

      1. I really appreciate your tip to try the serum on my undereyes. It’s made a ton of difference already. I have a really deep line under each eye, and those are much more filled out since I started.
