A while back I picked up the Hourglass Femme Nude Lip Stylo in Nude No. 5 Golden Peach to review. This is the type of nude color that I really like, and I think it’s especially flattering on redheads.

The packaging for the lip stylos is heavier than I thought it would be and it definitely has a luxe look to it.
While I really really love the color of this lipstick, I was disappointed in the wear time. It wore off very quickly for me. I noticed major wear after only an hour. After 2 hours (which did include drinking water), I needed to reapply. After loving the Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipsticks, I expected that I would love the Femme Nude Lip Stylos too.
I don’t know if I got a bad lip stylo, or if it’s the formula for this particular product line. It’s too bad, because I think the color is gorgeous, but with the $30 price tag I expected it to be longer wearing.
I personally say you should skip this one, unless you really love the color. I’m kind of kicking myself for not returning it to Sephora for a refund. I wish this shade was available in the Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick formula.
