Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette (press sample)
This great palette wins the Holy Grail award for Best Supporting Actor to my glittery, shimmery bright shades. See my review.

Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks

Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks (press sample)
Absolutely fabulous formula. I love Anarchy (fuchsia pink), Obsessed (bright candy type pink) and Native (pretty soft neutral pink). See my review. Vegan.

Too Faced Shadow Insurance
I’ve been using TFSI for 5 years. I’ve tried multiple eyeshadow primers but I always come back to TFSI because it works the best for me.  See my review.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (press sample, repurchased)
After lots of searching, I’ve found the mascara formula that works the best for me. It doesn’t flake off in my contacts. It builds up my lashes and makes them look great, without ever risking spidery clumps. See my review.

Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy
I love this when I really want my eyeshadows to have that extra oomph! It’s fabulous for duochromes, glitters, and anything else that needs a sticky base. See my review and my Best Ways to Apply Loose Eyeshadow. Vegan.

Darling Girl Glitter Glue
I really like the texture of this but I have problems with the packaging allowing too much product to come out at one time. It gets an honorary mention because the formula is excellent.

Glass Nail Files (press sample)
These can come from a variety of places. I have KBShimmer and Cult Nails glass files and they’ve made a world of difference with my nails. Glass nail files aren’t as harsh on your nails as metal or sandpaper. They help to minimize chipping, peeling and help to seal your nails. They’re easy to clean and they are supposed to last forever. Vegan.

Cult Nails Get It On Base Coat
Love this stuff! Before this, I preferred Orly Bonder. It really works well with my nails. Vegan.

KBShimmer Clearly On Top Top Coat (press sample)
It’s a quick drying top coat that works well with glitters or cremes.

Cult Nails Nevermore
This is my perfect one coat black. I’ve repurchased this and gifted it to people. Ray likes to borrow it from me, too. It’s great for nail art, to wear on its own, for stamping etc. See my review. Vegan.

DermOrganic Leave-in Shine Therapy (press sample, repurchased)
This product is made with argan oil. It protects from heat if you blow dry or flat iron your hair. It speeds up dry time if you blow dry. It makes your hair feel soft and it smells soooooo good. See my review. Vegan.

Rock Your Hair Bombshell Powder
This adds great volume to my hair. Love this stuff! See my review.

Cover FX CC Cream Time Release Tinted Treatment SPF 30
My finicky skin is happy with this product! I get good coverage and can fake great skin with it. I love it! See my review.

Paula’s Choice RESIST Super Antioxidant Serum
I love using this serum on its own. I’ve also mixed it in with eye creams and daytime moisturizers with SPF if I’ve needed more moisture. I typically use it underneath a night cream. See my review.

Paula’s Choice RESIST Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator
This is my night cream of choice and I love the ingredients in it because it has lots of Vitamin C. It’s a  nice anti-aging moisturizer without retinol. See my review.

Supergoop! SPF 35+ Save Face Oil-Free AM Moisturizer
It’s made with Vitamin E, Blueberry extract, and has broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection. I work from home and sit next to my sliding glass doors to be able to enjoy the view outside daily, so I always feel it’s important for me to have on SPF to protect my skin. See my review.

Supergoop! SPF 30 MintFusion Lip Balm
I’m quite sure the freckles by my lips are from not having lip balm with SPF when I was younger. I wish I had known to look for it then! I’ve got at least 2 tubes of this stuff in my house at any given time – 1 in my purse, 1 on my night stand. I also like to keep one in my studio and one in the living room.

Paula’s Choice Gentle Touch Makeup Remover
It’s great at removing my stubborn mascaras and eyeliner, without causing me to irritate my skin or trigger a reaction.

Too Faced Candlelight Glow Duo

Too Faced Candlelight Glow Highlighting Powder Duo
It’s my all time favorite highlighter for the perfect sheen it gives my skin. I usually swirl it together and highlight my cheeks. I’ve been known to use it to highlight my browbone and at the inner corners of my eyes too. See my review.

Wayne Goss Makeup Brushes
I’m glad I gave these brushes a chance and picked up the entire set. The eye brushes have been a game changer for me and I feel like they’ve helped me improve my makeup skills. They make it so much easier to blend. The 5, 6 and 8 brushes are must haves for me. I also love the 7, 4, and 3. The 1 and 2 are my least used brushes from the set. See my review.

NARS Black Valley Eye Paint
I purchased this at the Makeup Show Orlando. I already knew I would love the formula. I usually use it on my waterline because it stays put longer than anything else that I’ve tried. See more here.

NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder
This has been a fabulous product for me and I feel like I’ve barely dented the container that I have. I’m glad that I chose loose over pressed. I’m also glad that I started using the powder puff to apply it instead of a brush as I feel like the results are much better. See my review.

Silk Naturals Flattery Illuminating Powder
I love this powder and I’m so glad that it’s still around at Silk Naturals. It’s an illuminating powder with just a hint of pink, gold and blue.  It helps to perk up a dull complexion and adds just a little bit of shimmer. I think it works especially well under the eyes and on the cheekbones but you can use it all over, too. Vegan.

  1. I definitely want to check out that bombshell hair stuff! Volume is what I am all about

  2. I love Urban Decay eye palettes. They are my holy grail eye products also.

  3. I’m a fan of Paula’s Choice, too. I use several of their products, including the Resist Hydrator you mentioned.

  4. all the urban decay and too faced products you mentioned are on my holy grail list too!

  5. I’m with you on the glass nail files, I discovered it last year with a Kiko one and purchased several others for my fragile nails, in case some become lost or broken 😉

    1. I don’t think they’re permanently closed, at least I haven’t heard anything about that. But the Darling Girl Glitter Glue would be a good alternate.

  6. I hear so many great things about the UD Revolution Lipsticks, i really should pick up a few of them

    1. Yes! At least check out a few 🙂 I listed my 3 favorites above. Native for when I need a mild pink, Obsessed for a candy pink and Anarchy for a loud pink.

  7. Hi, as for the supergoop you cannot open, PLS cut the bottom off and squeeze into an empty jar of some kind, If you are worried about germs from your hand there are little spatulas that you can take some out with, or like a tongue depresser, popsicle stick, or qtip. It would be a shame to waste it 😀

      1. I see, there are also airless pumps you can get on amazon, like for transferring your foundation (from no pump to pump). But I suppose it depends on the amt of money you want to spend on something like that. I understand, that’s too bad, but at least you were able to get a replacement. Really liked your holy grails, some are mine as well, Have a great day!!

  8. I really love Holy Grail posts and should get a move on with one of my own! You’ve totally sold me on Supergoop – will order some of their products soon.

  9. Great picks! I recently bought some Paula Choice products, a mask and weekly peel. So far, so good!

  10. So many great products! I have also repurchased Cult Nails Nevermore.. no matter how many black polishes I have, this is my fave.

  11. Great products! I love the too faced better than sex mascara and highlighter. Naked basic and the colour anarchy are part of my holy grails as well 🙂 loved the post!

  12. I seriously need to get my hands on some Wayne Goss brushes :/ I love Better Than Sex Mascara thanks to you. And there are a few favs on your list I love as well. I gotta get my hands on some Paula’s choice products, like that palette. 😀 It’s on my list.

  13. I tried many of the products from your list, and I agree, they’re wonderful! Revolution lipsticks made me permanently switch from lip glosses to lipsticks 🙂

  14. Amazing list! The Too Faced Candlelight duo has been on my “need” list for weeks now

  15. love the list and i use many of the products myself (TFSI, Pixie Epoxy, TF Candlelight Glow, NARS reflective setting powder-both loose and pressed and i will have to try the loose with a powder puff- thank you!!:)
i have a holy grail list too and a recent add, as recommended by you, is Cinema Secrets- that has been SUCH a HUGE game changer for me because it is SO fast and effective! Instead of it taking hours for me to clean all of my brushes, CS yields such a FAST process, AND my brushes are PRISTINE! CS does an amazing job at cleaning even fnd brushes too; even with multiple washes of brush shampoo and cleaner and m/u remover, i unsuccessful at getting them back to the first day i used each of those brushes. I am in serious awe and love for this product! Thank you, Phyrra, for doing a review because it has a home on my permanent HG list!
    😀

      1. 😀 Cinema Secrets! Yes! And i have you to thank for introducing me! <3 And to Fyrinnae too! Pixie Epoxy is ahhhmazing!

  16. I keep hearing great things about Cult Nails Nevermore, but I don’t use my bottle of KBShimmer Clearly On Top since I found out how insidious DBP is. Much as I love KBS products, that’s just not a chemical I want to play with. :/
