Cover FX Quickie Look

Cover FX Quickie Look

This is just a quickie look that I put together with mostly Cover FX products. I started by applying Nyx Angel Veil as a primer all over. Then I used Cover FX Cream Concealer in N X-Light on my chin and under my eyes. I tried to work WITH my rosacea by using Tarte Glisten blush. I set everything with the Cover FX Matte Setting Powder in Light. I’m glad that it has a tint because it helps to cover up my skin’s imperfections. Finally, I highlighted my face with the Cover FX Moonlight highlighter.

For my eyes, I put Nyx Angel Veil Primer on my eyes, then dusted Cover FX Matte Light Setting Powder in Light on top. I used the Wayne Goss 8 brush to press Mally Beauty Black Velvet eyeliner into my upper waterline. Then I curled my lashes and applied Cargo LashActivator Primer Mascara (which is supposed to help my lashes grow longer, we’ll see if this happens). I used Cargo HD Picture Perfect Mascara on top. Then I set it with Anastasia Lash Genius. I filled in my brows with tarte Brow Architect in Fair.

For my lips I used Cargo Vienna Gloss, topped with Milani Starlet gloss (blue sparkly).

I’m really struggling with my skin and trying to figure out how to make the redness on my face work for me instead of me hating it and always wanting to cover it up.

Before I was ever diagnosed with rosacea, I always wore foundation because I hated how red my face was and I always wanted to cover it up. I always wore foundation because I felt like I looked blotchy without it. A decade later, I now know why and I’m trying to cope. I’ve now got 3 medications to take to try and get my condition under control.  Ah, well.

What do you think of this Quickie Cover FX  Look?

  1. I know this is an old post but I was searching for reviews on Cover FX and came upon it. You look fantastic. I have rosacea too but it’s a lot more visible on me as I have very red cheeks. I’d post a pic but I might horrify your readers 😛 Anyway looking good love the look.

  2. I would not have known that you don’t have foundation on. You look great!

  3. You look very fresh. I can’t wait to try this brand. I have a whole tube of MUF concealer I hate and (useless) too dark foundation. I’ve been scraping the last bit of product from my tube of Tarte foundation, which is not bad stuff.
