It Cosmetics CC Your Way to Beautiful Skin at QVC

I’m excited to share with you the It Cosmetics CC Your Way to Beautiful Skin Kit, available exclusively at QVC for a special price of $59.98 (the press release said $58.98 but the website says $59.98). It’s only available at this price for one day, Monday March 10, 2014. The kit includes the Your Skin But Better CC Cream SPF 50, CC Lip Serum Hydrating Anti-Aging Color Correcting Creme Gloss, Tightline Waterproof Mascara Primer and a Heavenly Luxe Plus Paddle Foundation Brush.

In this kit, instead of the normal 1.08 (32 ml) fl. oz. you’re getting 2.53 (75 ml), fl. oz. of product. So that’s a lot of CC Cream!

I wear shade Fair in this product.

The Heavenly Luxe Plus Paddle Foundation Brush definitely lives up to its name. I measured its density / thickness at 1/2″. It’s just over 1.25″ wide.

The Tightline Waterproof Mascara Primer works very well. I tested it after walking all day outside and then hot tubbing for a half hour. It withstood the heat and my favorite mascara didn’t budge. I had no issues removing it with my Paula’s Choice Gentle Touch Makeup Remover, either, which was nice.

The It Cosmetics CC Lip Serum hydrating Anti-Aging Color correcting Creme Gloss in Love is a light pink with hints of mauve. It’s not a shade I like to wear as I feel it does nothing for my complexion. It’s a shade that I know many women reach for, so I can see it being popular. It’s supposed to color correct your lip color, hydrate the lips, and give a pretty flush of color that lasts.

I love the CC Cream, so I think a super sized version is great (though I was sent a shade I can’t wear – medium, instead of my shade, fair). The CC Cream usually costs $38 for 1 oz, so you’re getting more than double for less than the cost of that. The It Cosmetics brushes range from $38 to $58 in price. The primer is typically $24. I’m not sure what value to assign the lip product.

For me, I like everything in this kit except for the lip product, so I think it’s a pretty good value for the price. When I culled my brush collection, I kept all of my It Cosmetics brushes because they’re very soft, yet have the perfect amount of flex, so I think they’re awesome. I’ve actually wanted a brush like this since last year when I saw Kandee Johnson use one in this video, so I’m really happy with the brush.

I definitely feel like you’re getting a great deal for the price of the kit.
