What Beauty Products I'm Using Now

I’m not sure that I’ve ever done one of these for my blog, but the lovely Jacqueline of A Brilliant Brunette suggested the What I’m Using Now tag, so I’m doing it. You should too, if you’re interested!

What I’m Using Now

Makeup Brushes I have been living and breathing my Goss Makeup Artist Makeup Brushes from Beautylish. (See my review) I believe these are soon to be back in stock at Beautylish. The shapes of these brushes are perfect for my eye shape and I reach for them daily. It was enough to convince me to cut my brush collection in half because I just don’t reach for most of my brushes. The Push liner set in this is a MUST HAVE. It’s the perfect size. Seriously, I could rave about these brushes all day. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Shampoo and Conditioner
I’m using my Cocoa Pink Princess Poo Shampoo and Argan Therapy Creme. I need to write reviews about these, however I’ve raved about them several times, including in my Best Sulfate Free Shampoos and Conditioners.

Styling Products
Right now, I’m using a teeny tiny amount of DermOrganic Texture Taffy (reviewed here) in my hair, a bit of Rock Your Hair Bombshell Big Hair Powder (reviewed here), and White Sands Infinity Hair Spray (recently reviewed here).

Shower Gel
Bath and Body Works Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin. But I bet you knew that already!

Body Moisturizer
Cocoa Pink Coco Mango Body Butter in Black Chocolate Raspberries. LOVE THIS! It’s vegan.

Fake Tan
If I’m going to fake a glow, I reach for Beautisol Summer Glow and Need I Glow More tanner. It’s  non-stinky, streak free and gives the most perfect natural looking faux glow. See my amazing before and after photos in my review. It’s vegan.

Cleanser
Right now I’m using the Abbey St. Clare Aniba Cleanser (reviewed here). This stuff is wonderful and moisturizing, perfect for my sensitive skin.

Toner
I don’t really do toner, but, how about Urban Decay’s Vitamin B6 Prep Spray? It feels great on the face.

Exfoliator
Hmm, for the body I use Bath & Body Works Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin Creamy Scrub. For the face I use my Konjac Sponge (see review) to exfoliate gently daily, and then a few times a week I use the Foreo Luna (reviewed here).

Peel
OMG! The amazing Ellen Lange Peel is what I use. It’s awesome! Check out my rave review.

Mask
I’m not using any masks right now. Can you recommend a good cruelty free mask?

Serum
I’m using the Paula’s Choice Super Antioxidant Serum (see my review), FutureDerm’s Vitamin CE Caffeic Serum (see the review),  and I suppose Dr. Brandt Skincare dark circles away collagen eye serum.

Face Primer
For the face I bounce between Too Faced Primed & Poreless and OCC Skin Primer.

Eyeshadow Primer
For the eyes I use Too Faced Shadow Insurance (see my review) and Urban Decay Anti-Aging Eyeshadow Primer Potion (see my review).

Foundation
I’m using Cover FX CC Cream in N Light (reviewed here), It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation in Fair (see my review), and NARS Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 in Finland (see my review).

Concealer
I am currently using either Illamasqua Skin Base Lift in White Light or Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Skin Conceal in R0. They’re both great. OCC is Vegan.

Powder
I’m going to go with setting powders here. I’m in love with Silk Naturals Flattery Illuminating Powder (I NEED to review this), which is vegan. I’m also in love with NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder (see my review).

Blush
I can’t pick just one! NARS Desire, Tarina Tarantino Coral Cameo (see review), Nyx Natural (need to review), and NARS Silvana.

Bronzer
I don’t wear bronzer much. I’ll share my contour shade. Nyx Taupe blush, Tarte Park Ave. Princess, and Pumpkin & Poppy Oak Bark (cool toned contour powder) are my three go-to products for bronzer / contour.

Highlighter
This one’s easy! Too Faced Candlelight Glow Duo (see my review), bareMinerals The Many Splendors Luminizer (see my review), and Tarte Highlighter.

Eyeshadows
I can’t pick just one. Urban Decay, Sugarpill, BftE, Makeup Geek, Darling Girl and Morgana Cryptoria.

Eyeliners
Urban Decay’s 24/7 eyeliners, Buxom eyeliners, NARS eyeliners and most recently Tarte Cosmetics eyeliners.

Curler
Urban Decay’s Cage Free Lash Curler. I love this thing. Everyone else thinks it’s creepy.

Mascara
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (see my review).

Lashes
I don’t wear them often, but I love my Sugarpill and Ardell lashes.

Lipstick
I’ve been wearing the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencils, my DIY OCC Lip Tar Pencils, and Urban Decay 24/7 Lip Pencils (reviewed here) a ton.

Lipgloss
I’ve been reaching for NARS Albatross gloss when I want gloss.

Nail Polish
My go to polish is Cult Nails Nevermore. I’m currently wearing Urban Decay Zodiac. I also love Zoya Neve.

  1. After reading your list i need to branch out and try more products lol. Other than Too Faced, It cosmetics and urban decay i dont think i have tried any of the other products you mentioned.

    1. Yeah, I don’t think they’ve sold it for about a year. I like it because it actually fits my eye shape and lets me get close to my actual lash line. I can’t go back to cage curlers

      1. Shu Uemura just came out with a cageless one! I have been eyeing it since you’ve said so many times how much you love yours. I’ll report back if I get it 😉

  2. Thanks for such summary! It’s always interesting to see what fellow bloggers use on a daily basis. I added Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara to my wish list, after reading your review I think I need it in my life 🙂

  3. Great summary! I would love to try Goss brushes! I’m loving Cover FX cream concealer at the moment so I have to try the foundation too!

  4. I love the NARS Tinted Moisturizer, too. Actually, I need to go and buy some more, since I’m almost out!

For cruelty-free masks, I like to use Queen Helene’s Mint Julep Masque whenever I have an acne breakout, and I’m also fond of Freeman’s Dead Sea Minerals Facial Anti-Stress Mask.

  5. OMG, I clicked the link to see you with a “tan”- I am so used to seeing you in your perfect porcelain doll fairness it was a shocker! I need to try those Wayne Goss brushes!
