Recently I had the opportunity to try out the Paula’s Choice RESIST Retinol Skin-smoothing Body Treatment. This is not meant for use on the face, but for use all over the body. I’ve primarily used it on my neck, hands, chest, and arms.

My thoughts
This is a pretty sweet moisturizer with retinol for use on your décolleté, hands, arms, and elsewhere. I typically put my facial moisturizers on my face, neck, décolleté, and hands. It’s nice to have a quality moisturizer with anti-aging benefits to put everywhere aside from my face. It has a really nice emollient quality to it and spreads easily. I’m using this on my hands, neck, décolleté and arms. I’m using a regular moisturizer elsewhere, and another anti-aging moisturizer on my face. so I’ve got everything covered!

It’s very important that whenever you are using a product with retinol that you make sure to wear sunscreen whenever you’re out in the sun. I’m paranoid, so I prefer SPF 30 or greater. I’ve used this product for nearly a month and I definitely feel like my skin is smoother and softer.

I love the container, as it’s easy to dispense the product. It’s an airless pump, so you don’t risk the anti-aging ingredients repeatedly being exposed to the air like they would in a jar package, plus the product doesn’t get caught under my nails. And I’m thrilled at the price. Getting 4 oz for $23 seems like a steal!

Have you tried the new Paula’s Choice RESIST Retinol Skin-Smoothing BodyTreatment? What do you use for anti-aging on your body?

  1. I just put some on! I returned the retinol serum, as it was too heavy for my face, and I really wasn’t noticing much in the way of results from it. I watched a video Wayne Goss put up recently, and he uses this on his face and body, so of course I wanted to try it. 😉 I use it on my face and down onto my chest, and I honestly noticed almost instant results–the fine lines in the under eyes/top of cheeks area are much less noticeable, and my skin is overall definitely smoother and “glowier.” It’s not too heavy, yet it still has a nice moisturizing quality. I agree that the price is a great value for the size you get!
