Makeup Geek Vegas Lights Tutorial

Today I’ve got a Makeup Geek Vegas Lights Tutorial to share with you. The Makeup Geek Vegas Lights palette is a very warm toned palette, but I was able to come up with a look that I really like using it! I was worried about all the warm colors and I shouldn’t have been.

Vegas Lights Palette Shades
Casino – Shimmery saturated metallic gold with orange undertones
Sin City – Shimmery golden apricot/golden medium orange
Roulette – A rosy, burnt shimmery sienna
Mirage – Pale matte beige with yellow undertones and a silky finish
Desert Sands – Matte, medium terra-cotta
Bada Bing – Deep brown with flecks of gold (available as a single too)

I typically find yellow and orange hard to wear, but I feel like the the combination of Sin City and Roulette work well together. I’ve been thinking of trying Bada Bing on the lid, layering Roulette on top and blending into the crease, using Desert Sands to blend out the edges of Roulette on the crease.

How would you wear Vegas Lights?

    1. Thank you! It’s a combination that I find hard to wear usually. Yellow + Orange is not really flattering on me, but gold + copper works ok 🙂

  1. Oooh I love these colors on you! In the pan they are just so-so and look sort of meh. In the store I wouldn’t have taken a second look at this as nothing catches the eye. What a beautiful eye look you’ve done. Now I want this palette.

    1. I’m taking Hairfinity hair vitamins and I was taking biotin before that. I’m trying to grow my hair past my shoulders 🙂

  2. OMG Roulette!!!!!!!! I’ve been eyeing this palette and I think I’m going to cave in 3, 2, 1…now. XD This eye look is so gorgeous! The shadows in action are just…wow. I love golds and I am in love with Roulette…plus I have a thing for certain orange-y shades…solid rich deep browns never go unused lol…so yeah. I am all over this! Great palette! The colors pop extra-extra beautifully against your hair! Love this look! 😀
