I wanted to share my thoughts and swatches of the Eddie Funkhouser Hyperreal Eyeshadows with you. Eddie Funkhouser is a cruelty free brand. I have 3 of the Hyperreal eye colors to share with you. These are vibrant, pigmented eyeshadows.

Stage Beauty is my favorite of the three. It’s gorgeous.

Wearing Goldie
Wearing Goldie, this picture was taken after 6 hours of wear outside in the FL humidity and summer heat.

I got very good wear with these shadows on primer 6+ hours outside in in the Florida heat and humidity without creasing. My shadow lasted all day, which I need.  I liked the pigmentation on all 3 shades. While Goldie is sheer, it still looks good as a wash on the lid and crease. Stage Beauty had a buttery texture and was easy to work with. Femme Fatale is a pretty charcoal. It’s a nice shade for liner or to deepen the crease.

My initial experience with Eddie Funkhouser was with the Eye Candy quad, which I found deeply disappointing because it didn’t have enough pigmentation. These Hyperreal eyeshadows have more than made up for that experience.

  1. NICE! I didn’t know this was a CF brand! Of course I LOVE the Charcoal, looks like the pigmentation is super. It will go nicely with my the NARS Smokey Eye Kit, as will the other too! Thanks for another great post!

  12. I have the hypperreal quad in Girls On Film, and I was impressed. I want to get the other three quads. I’m glad to see the singles are just as nice.
