Hotel Indigo in Atlanta

So Friday Ray and I spent the day driving up to Atlanta Georgia. We stayed at Hotel Indigo, which is a nice pet friendly hotel.

Here are some pictures of the room.

This is where I did my makeup and hair.

This is the SMALLEST bathroom I’ve ever been in. In fact, in the middle of the night I got up to go to the bathroom and hit my head on the sink. Kind of embarressing!

The bed was very comfortable! We slept very well.

We chose this hotel because it has high ratings, great rates, a nice staff and it’s pet friendly. My only hesitation on going back is the teeny tiny bathroom with no tub! I often love to relax in a hot bath and only having the option to shower is kind of disappointing.

For dinner Friday night, Ray and I met up with Kristen of Aromaleigh and her husband Steve and our friend Alana. We decided to head to the Georgetown Terrace Hotel’s restaurant, the Livingston.

This is the view looking straight up from the Georgetown Terrace Lobby.

The food was pretty good but the service was less than stellar. We could NOT get our drinks refilled for anything, it was frustrating. I would try to wave down the waiter and he would ignore me. While service was frustrating, conversation was amazing, and we really did have a good time.

This is what I looked like for dinner:

Too Faced Shadow Insurance
MAC Pigment in Fairylite
Aromaleigh Lash Primer
Benefit BadGal Lash Mascara in Black
Meow Browbeaters in a 50/50 mix of Black & Auburn

Aromaleigh Breathless

Aromaleigh Glissade in 1CL+Alabaster

MAC Lipstick in Sweet Thing

  • Hi Suzie,
I definitely thought it was interesting to see! It implies comfort and home to me 🙂 I loved the colors in the room. Especially that blue shade.

    Hi Laura,
Thanks! I think it was nice, except for the dinky bathroom!

  • Hi Nicole,
    Thank you 🙂
I never know why waitstaff does that 🙁
The guy came back later and said that our drink order had been deleted by someone at the bar, and he re-took it, but still, it sucks to be eating dinner and wait a half hour for a drink.

  • Oooh, you look gorgeous! I love your hair 🙂 It sounds like a fun time, and I HATE when waitstaff do that. Haha, I'm a waitress/cook, so those things peeve me.
