Yes to Blueberries Eye Firming Treatment Review

A while back I purchased the Yes to Blueberries Eye Firming Treatment eye cream from Target. I was desperate enough to try an eye cream since my under eye area had been freaking out due to severe allergies.

The Website Claims:

Beeswax – Provides hydration, soothing and healing of age-damaged skin and promote the retention of moisture in the skin.
Olive Fruit Oil – Rich in Oleic Acid to help regenerate skin cells and attract moisture to the skin.

The Ingredients are:

Price:
$19.99 for .5 fl. oz.

Does it live up to its claims?
Yes! When I first started using this product, my under eyes were dry and swollen and the only thing I could use on them reliably was pure shea butter. This product helped my under eye area to re-hydrate and heal. I also feel it reduces the puffing and annoying fine lines I’ve started seeing, due to my skin freaking out from my severe allergies. It’s definitely very soothing. This product caused me to eat my words about eye creams not being necessary. This eye cream is pretty amazing to me.

Would I purchase again?
Yes. Wholeheartedly, yes I will. I feel like it’s an amazing eye cream for my skin. The price isn’t bad, and you can often find it on sale at Drugstore.com.

Product purchased by me. All opinions are my own.

  1. Thanks for the review… I have reacted to “natural” products before due to being allergic to some fruits, nuts and birch. I have a feeling I would likely react to this product 🙁 Have you heard of any allergic reactions?

  2. already bought two few weeks before, wish shipping from NY to ON wasn’t so damn slow! glad to see another good review of it 🙂

  3. I’m intrigued by the look of this ingredient list, but I have to say it looks awfully rich for an eye cream, and has some potentially comedogenic ingredients pretty high on the list, so anyone who’s prone to blemishes or has experienced milia would probably want to steer clear of this.

In terms if anti aging, this would really only fall into the partial protection category; there’s nothing in this cream that will reduce lines that are already there, and without sunscreen it cant really claim to be anti-wrinkle protection. This may make wrinkles *appear* to be reduced- that’s just because the skin is hydrated, all moisturizers will do that. If you’re already using the day or night cream in this line, you’ll see the ingredients are very similar- I wouldn’t shell out the $ for this, considering it’s the same price and 3 times less product.

I know you were having issues with your eyes for a while, and this is definitely rich enough to nurse super irritated skin back to health. Have you tried the facial moisturizers in this line? I’d be curious to see what your thoughts are if you swapped one of them for the eye cream.

    1. I picked up the intense repair serum and the nighttime hydrating creme in this line.

I always use my SPF 30 moisturizer on my face (and on top of this on my eyes).

Question though, it looks like this could be causing makeup to settle into the fine lines around my eyes because it’s so emollient?

  4. I have some premature fine lines because of my allergies (I compulsively rub under my eyes, I have for most of my life) so this is good to know.

  5. Good to know! I’ve been using the complete Yes to Blueberries line for a while now, except this particular cream. I got the Yes to Cucumbers one instead, because my eyes burn severely in the winters and the cooling effect of the cucumbers is soothing. However, my allergies to a due to flair up any time now–it’s great that I have the option of a product that works well for a reasonable price should I find my eyes in a worse state!
