Christian is back! He’s sharing some Winter 2017 Hair Trend Ideas. I always love his color schemes. Below are his creations and commentary for each color.
Winter green mint
For Meghan we did a combination of about 5 colors to make this cool minty color just right. Just the right amounts of green and blues and some little extra colors with the help of her natural underplaying pigment. Styled with a 1.25 inch tapered styling wand for the big waves.
Warm tone balayage
For this look we did a deep brown base with a balayage technique for the bright blonde ends to showcase the perfect ratio of depth and lightness. Also styled with a tapered styling wand for the beauty queen esque waves.
Purple shadow base
This is a perfect way to have a little fun with color while still being mainly a natural blonde color. Just shattering the purple base up top for a smooth blend into the blonde. Also has the coolest fade as it turns into light shades of lavender over time.
Gayle is the owner of Florist Fire in Hyde Park Tampa which I highly recommend for beautiful flower arrangements for all occasions.
Just refreshing my friend Katie’s Fire hair and decided to add a purple base on a whim and I’m really happy with how it changed it up a bit.
Ybor city rooftop
For these photos we utilized the roof of my salon Metamorphys located in Ybor City and I’m happy with how the backdrop cave the photos and hair that urban vibe. Kayla always lets me do whatever idea I have and she rolls with it. Because she rules.
Blue Purple Gradient
This was another first timer going all in for a full head of mermaid color. Blue purple gradienting into purple. Shot in daylight to get the most accurate photo of the way this color glowed.
Classic purple tone
This shade was another color that took a few different colors with the perfect ratio and always have a really beautiful fade over time.
